Well seems like nobody knows how to fix this problem so after some time lurking, I found a solution from this website.

Gameboy Advance SRAM Patching
Some Gameboy Advance games require a 128k flash save, but the emulator on the Dingoo only supports 64k. The emulator will output a white screen. In many cases, an SRAM Patcher can fix this.
Dunno it Dingoo has anything to do with the emulator used by EmuMaster, but:
- Basically, it's SRAM patching the rom using GBA Tool Advance (gbata for short).

- After patching, the game can now run even though it could read "Save Data is Corrupted" somewhere but it will continue anyway, instead of stop there at this screen like before.

- In the game when it ask for save/game/data slot, choose the second or third one, not the first slot since it's corrupted.

- Enjoy your game in EmuMaster.

Link to download gbata 0.7a: here

I'm personally hoping that the Amiga section is gonna be worked on for the next release. Especially the controls and making multiple disk games work. This would be a supreme app if Amiga was working properly ! :-)

I just gave a healthy dontation, so I hope N64 emulation will happen soon and maybe a simpler process for sixaxis controller. :)

I wrote week ago to freeze a set of emulators for some time. Well, so here is my proposal: I will start develop N64 emulation when I collect 400$ for this goal. I think it should be not a problem (e.g. donate 5$ * 50 users = 250$) and it will motivate me a lot.

Current sum is 170$.

Just a quick question if you don't mind. I got my N9 yesterday and (I didn't have to try emumaster, but I'm currently on it) want to know if the app will be updated automatically once you get the new version on Nokia Store...or will there be a notification?

The notifications from Nokia Store will be on PR1.2 - it;s Nokia job. You can subscribe to this thread to get info about new versions.

How long more until Nokia releases the new version? Also, Super Mario RPG won't run in SNES emulator.

I don't know, they do not inform me what progress is, they only send me an email when they finished testing.

Yes, I know about it, I have explained it before why.

There is some audio issues on the FF9. It sound like some guy smash the hammer to the wall :D or music/sounds kind of stay on looping. This problem is on FF7 too.

Re: EmuMaster 0.1.1

@OP Don't take this as complaining because I can't argue with free.

However here's my opinion. You should focus on fixing bugs instead of implementing new devices into the emulator.

Emulating still isn't perfect on PC even for NES and optimising code for all these different devices is probably impossible to do by yourself.

I tried the emu and NES games ran too fast, sound(i.e. music) skipped while SNES games didn't even have working sound. (tested 5 games)

Another feature you should consider adding is the ability to hold down two buttons at a time(i.e. in Megaman X you sometimes have to keep the shot charged and be able to jump at the same time). Although there might be a chance that you could actually pull this off already, but it's really hard to do then because I didn't manage.

As I wrote before I am going to fix bugs and improve current set of emulated systems, N64 emulator is going to be added only when 400$ donation will be reached.

The new version (0.2.1) is available at the Nokia Store, more info at http://elemental-mk.blogspot.com/

PS: I am going to sleep within the hour, so any answers will appear tomorrow if you ask later

One question from me, maybe admin will read this. Last time I was blamed to create a new thread, now I have edited only the title of the thread, but it does not push to RSSs, could you give me a tip?

Loving the Picodrive so far now that I know the cartridge ROMs must end in .smd and not .bin or .zip.

But SegaCD playback escapes me. I'm getting told that I must have BIOS files but I've got both my mcd001.mcr and mcd002.mcr files in the pico directory. Am I missing something?

Did it work for you in previous versions? Please reboot the device and if problem persists run the command from terminal:
/opt/emumaster/bin/psx "/home/user/MyDocs/emumaster/psx/name_of_the_game.iso"
and send me the output.

Hi Elemental

Really Thank you again for the hard work again.

Still no plans for GB? How much donation you need for the GB emulation? It shouldn't be as difficult as N64...

Hmm... well, let say 300$ ... and if you donate for a specific aim, write it in the title of the donation

yes, it did work fine with 0.1.0 (apart from the missing l2/r2 keys).

the command did not result in anything, I'll try it later via ssh, I might just have a type...

Re: EmuMaster 0.2.1

Got the correct BIOS loaded now for Sega CD games. Really happy with this!

Although I've noticed that Emumaster's Sega CD implementation does not support scaling sprites. Games like Wing Commander are full of invisible ships and the spinning Sega CD logo at the BIOS screen is also invisible.

This was a similar problem in the original port of PicoDrive for the N900:

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=584743

javicq eventually updated his PicoDrive port to v1.35 and it then was able to display scaling sprites.

Any chance we could get this same feature? Scaling sprites were a novelty around the time the SegaCD was introduced so many games feature this.

I have found the bug (my n950 didn't suffer because of it) with the help from Adrian (he post on my blog) and a new package with the fix and scaling/rotating sprites functionality in MegaCD will be send to QA process.

You're welcome ;)
As said, it is on his blog http://elemental-mk.blogspot.com/201...aster-021.html, and while waiting for the fix, people with the same issue can try it:
Code:

devel-su
Password: rootme
ln -s /home/user/MyDocs /root
cd /home/user/MyDocs/emumaster/psx
/opt/emumaster/bin/psx YOUR_GAME.iso

Replace YOUR_GAME with the name of the game you want to play (obviosly :p)

You haven't installed the bios for the GBA emulator then.
Follow the process in that image to make the GBA emulator work. Search for the bios on google or some other search engine. Make sure it is the correct bios. Go to the emumaster wiki and all the instructions for playing games should be there.

Out of curiosity would it be possible to emulate PSP on the N9. I'm not asking you to do it, but just wondering if it is possible. I'm guessing it would drain the hell out of the N9's battery life, but is the N9 powerful enough to do so?

PSP is to powerful to emulate on the phone, it's possible but you will get 2-5 fps at most,

If you ever used the Nintendo DS emulator on the N900, then you would see that even if you CAN emulate something, it does not always mean that it will end up being much more then a proof of concept due to performance.
