Nothing special, I still use the css file posted in the first page, all you have to do is using a black background for your launcher :) As I said before, it seem you need to change the whole 3 backgrounds

I have another problem now : I want to change the wallpaper that i put on my phone so it say that i just only need to change "meegotouch-desktop-bg.png" so i replace my actually wallpaper named "meegotouch-desktop-bg.png" to another wallpaper named too "meegotouch-desktop-bg.png", replace it, disconnect the phone of my computer, reboot the phone and?.....nothing changed, it's the same wallpaper, did i miss something?

you need to do it on the command line just copy new one to overwrite the old one, thats it for now, until some dev develop an app for this.

A hint to everyone:
You should download "home screen settings" from the OVI store. It has an option to remove the weather into at the top right feeds homescreen, so you wouldnt have the ugly black square.

(Not necessary if you're using a black background :p)

I found removing accuweather easier than doing this. Anyway, I don't really know how a "sweep background" could be implemented.

you need to do the command for copying, its on bonapart's post just above me. Then reboot. Theres a new version of all tweaks app. That should make everything easier now:)

Hey man! I renamed the 3 images and I put them with the other files in /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads/, open Terminal and type all the lines and get no any error and then I reboot and no settled backgrounds images:S, U knw why???

I completely borked it. Now the icons are tiny (same size as the x button when you long-tap) and the swiping to switcher/feeds painfully slow. I reinstalled both libmeegotouchhome0 and meegotouchhome-nokia (it does replace all the css files, I checked), I also replaced all the files with the originals posted here but nothing. Oh, and I have 3 columns in portrait mode now not 4.

I don't know, maybe it keeps some cache or something...

Hi.

I've tried to find source of problem with black background in weather widget on events desktop. And I've found it in source code of libmeegotouch. :(
I've opened bug report https://harmattan-bugs.nokia.com/show_bug.cgi?id=759. And I attached my patch to this bugreport.
Also we can see at screenshot (see below) events desktop after fixing of this bug.

I can build libmeegotouch with my patch. But I don't know how you will solve problem with Aeges in your Harmattan device.

I only retry many times, and i don't know why it's working now, i think you do a mistake when you enter the line, be aware what you writing, try again!

i think with all the tweaks and stuff we really need a app like winter board for iPhone to easy apply all these scattered tweaks. I've been wanting something like that polished one since the n900 era.

Almost same here
Icon size is same, and speed is ok, but 3 rows are here :(
Tried to restore from backup i made myself, and still same crap. Any help?

Ahhhh found a way to restore!
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

First, look at this post about a prog http://forum.meego.com/showpost.php?...0&postcount=50 It have this background change as option.

As last resort i'we downloaded clean backup, put zip into my phone, unziped and made full restore in that prog. Worked sweet!

Besides, i'we compared my backup and that one fith full folder-text compare. While textually files are identical, files have different bytesize, and different below HEX ehamination. Seems that some wierd encoding or tabulation bug.

Hey! I've tried to follow these steps, but I have been unable to download developer mode. Any ideas? It keeps failing, saying they can't establish a connection to download the necessary 2.6mb. I've tried it with my home wifi, 3g internet, as well as other wifis, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I'm running pr 1.2. Hjalp?
