Helo everybody,
My screen was peeling too and someday not possible to "touch" anything with it on the screen. I've disassemble the phone and changed the touch surface, but not better. I really can't work with it, no touch anymore. Did someone know the reasons, solutions ?
I really enjoy my N900 and don't want to leave it. I want to repair and go on with it for years.

I read this kind of post and realize I really need to sell my N900s so that someone who needs them can put them to good use.

Have you already played with Leste installed? I would not sell before Leste is ready and you have tried that. Leste is that big milestone.

@ lancewex i have a digitizer that may solve your issue. It is not very hard to replace

@ Maemish - what is the easiest way to install/use Leste?

I have not. I guess it's hard for me to believe it will ever be ready. I'll read up more on it though. Thanks.

I hope that in the beginning of next year the calls and sms would work with GUI. Check not just Leste N900 specific page but also the thread Leste pre alpha release from the end and also the Leste application wishlist thread.
