What are you on? If you have nothing constructive to post don't post such one-line drivel...Very soon we would be independent from Nokia then what? We are an open-source community not dependent on ONLY 1 platform i.e. Maemo...

Regarding tags, I wouldn't really want visible tags in the subject, but just devices and OS tags, so that I could filter the whole forum with that.
Just see N9 related posts, etc...

The current tag system is too generic for that.

It's quite funny, that we're discussing rearranging forum categories - for now, it's still unsure if TMO will be even available after end of 2012 as anything more than read-only archive ;)

Considering this, it's "extremely" not likely to happen, that Reggie will do any changes in categories.

After deciding the foundation name....
It might also be a good time to determine a new corresponding domain name, one that encompasses all Maemo & MeR iterations (possibly even NIT).
Does everyone not agree that this would be ideal longer-term, as opposed to just sticking with maemo.org*, at the very least there should be some kind of organised debate/vote.
Are there too many technical hurdles to include such a change in the transition, is that why the council hasn't considered/proposed such an approach yet?
(Or perhaps you have in-depth already...)

*We could always have maemo.org redirect to whatever the new domain is...

AFAIK, Nokia agreed to handle maemo.org domain to new foundation. It was confirmed by Qgil, who is now outside Nokia - should still be valid, but You can't be sure.

Correct, but they can't transfer the domain directly to the community but to a legal entity, that will be in place once approved the by laws and a new board is elected.
