Re: N9 keeps restarting
that is not all just a few lines i think the most important :)
|
Re: N9 keeps restarting
You missed a few more lines...The problem was downgrade disallowed meaning you were using the wrong images since beginning...Give me the full output again mostly the first few lines; heck just give me the full thing ;) and I'll point you to the images we will need...Also i'll then fix the full flash file accordingly...

Re: N9 keeps restarting
Please make sure your device is properly powered OFF prior to connecting
the USB cable. You can power your device off by holding down the power button for 8+ seconds. Flashing your device will erase all data and reset the device back to factory state. Please make sure you have backups of your data before proceeding with flashing. If flashing does not start disconnect the USB cable from the device, make sure the device is OFF and then reconnect the device with the USB cable. For first flashing you may need to repeat this a few times. Depending on amount of data to be securely erased, the erasing may take as long as 30 minutes until the flashing starts. Please, be patient. Check first that device is powered OFF and then connect USB cable. flasher 3.12.1 (Oct 6 2011) Harmattan WARNING: This tool is intended for professional use only. Re: N9 keeps restarting
aha...you are on pr1.3 (40.2012.21-3) and the emmc also is the same but the rootfs you were using is pr1.1 hence the full issue...
Which country do you stay in? so that we can otherwise get a global no maps pre-loaded version hence saving time required for downloading... |
Re: N9 keeps restarting
i live in bulgaria if you know where this is :) eastern europe :)
|
Re: N9 keeps restarting
Ok i think we'll use a global variant as you can always download the maps you want from the maps app later...Can you tell me are using a 16/64gb variant and the colour...

Re: N9 keeps restarting
Wooooo that was a marathon help run, it was!
There's always so many things that can go wrong when trying to assist someone doing the things way off. I also promised to help a friend who is going to get a N9, and wants to install nitdroid on it :D I am a bit worried on how it will go as he is not that familiar with all sysadmin related things.... Well anyway I am lucky I can access his desktop with VNC so I hope it will go well. |
Re: N9 keeps restarting
HELP PLEASE...
nothing happens when i plug in my phone i've tried it multiple times and its always off. it starts charging and nothing else happens |
Re: N9 keeps restarting
So have you tried with different cable? Quite a few cables that work as charging cables do not pass usb signals correctly.
What about different computer, your USB prorts could be broken. What OS are you using? do you have enough priviliges to run flasher? (in linux you need root, in windows I do not know what) Do you have correct flasher version? For N9 it should be 3.12.1 |
Re: N9 keeps restarting
help me, teamviewer. I can not do anything with my n9.
