Am I the only one to have trouble with installation of the new alpha (alpha 3). It says installation interrupted, try again.

Anyone else?

I just downloaded Alpha 3 to test for you and it installed fine...I installed via terminal but it shouldn't be giving issues as the digsigsums file not present error didn't come...Maybe your file is corrupted? Try re-downloading it...

Just back at home ... indeed, after re downloading everything works smoothy now :D !!!!

I made a new version that includes the best versions of Faenza into Simplico, if there is an objection i will remove it. Full credits goto the original author for more information view the faenza thread here

The theme is called Simplico-Faenza, its mainly statusbar changes, view first post

Alpha 5 has fully themed settings icons YAY - Refer to first post

For better support with Homescreen settings use Simplico not Simplico Faenza

Alpha 5 is pretty nice, thanks for all your work but I'll stick with alpha 4, I prefer it with original icons in settings.

Hi NovaG! Thanks for this awesome theme! Really like it. Well, I prefer Dark(Black) color in Status Bar... And I have noticed that the color is only black (background) in Landscape orientation in home screen. Still, the theme is awesome. Thanks!:)

To have a black status bar and fixed wallpaper just use simplico, its a bug in the other version

Oh coz I've installed it via File Box that is why I only see Simplico Faenza. Now I'm using Simplico only. Thank you!

Update 02/10/12 Alpha 6 now has themed world gaze icon, theme icon changed in settings so it no longer has a red square and screen rotation can be controlled by home screen settings, before it was set to unlocked

Hi NovaG thanks for the amazing work. I was just wondering if you could make the blue background optional, or have the default be a plain black background and people can change it in homescreen settings.

The reason for this is because when I try to manually change it to black, the blue background still shows up when I am using the music player.

Ah the music player background is not related to the homescreen background. I can remove it if you want. I can't make it optional its either there or its not

Simplico's a lovely looking theme, the icons are really refreshing in comparison to the default squircles. Great work. :cool:

Just one thing: after reverting back to Blanco (using Theme Settings), the icon for File Manager didn't change back along with everything else. I don't have gPodder or Panorama installed, so I'm not sure if the same happens to them.

Looking forward to more updates. :)

Hi,

This is the great theme.

I have a suggestion that pls enlarge the call button in call list, contacts, incoming and out going calls (where ever this button is).

The enlargement is something not everyone prefers from my experience...

You may want to search for Phone UI MOD thread which does what you want and do manual edits to the files for yourself...It would take you <30mins to do it ;)

Since I installed Simplico and emboss theme as well I am no longer able to see my emoticones on gtalk, skype fb etc only a small red block.

I uninstalled them all even theme changer but problem continues
anyone with same problem? :S

in themechanger there is a button at the bottom that states fix emoticon cache, click on it and your emoticons will work...

You need to do this step everytime you switch themes...
