Put the deb file in twit folder in MyDocs

devel-su (password is rootme)
/usr/sbin/incept /home/user/MyDocs/twit/*.deb

New on April 7th : I have added a few tweaks and improvements in the files. It is available from https://github.com/anandbibek/twitter-harmattan

To use, first incept install coderus deb, then download my files and put/replace in /usr/share/twitter folder.

Changes : Loads of UI improvements, Better icons, (launcher iccons not improved yet), fixed timeline alwys jumping to beginning on page changes, added an option to "Quote retweet" on long press in tweet. It'd allow you to edit before retweet.

Hope there are no bugs.

Reply Dialog Box needs to be corrected. There is no borders showing it.

@coderus Would you be able to supply the Facebook source? I'll see what I can do with it.

I think there is an issue with the reply and new tweet feature. Clicking on both does nothing for me...

Working fine for me, and others also I suppose. Maybe you should try a log out and login?

Yes, the splash looks cool, but are you sure you want the big twitter name always on the header... :)

Well it's still "life support" support, it's barely living support, might as well be no support at all.
So much for all their promises for "solid" support till 2015, it was mostly all dried-up by mid-2012.

PS: Why don't congrats Nokia? No PR1.4, No FB update, no fixing text messassing app, lack of codecs videoplayer ...etc etc i'm realistic, nothing else. -_-

I really hope Jolla takes off. After years of sweat and abandonment by Nokia with Maemo and MeeGo, they deserve justice.

All of your splash screens are jpg. Any chance of getting them in png? I don't currently have adobe to do it myself.

Again, i dont know why people hating so much,
There's a common system called "product life cycle", since Nokia focused on WP, there are more products become obsolete, remember how Nokia "abandon" Symbian 5th on 5800, N97 after they rolled out Symbian^3, despite is even worse scenario on N9.
So, no offense, if you want a product that always be supported by the industry, always buy the new one, thats how the system goes, whether you like it or not.

Off-topic:

It's totally understandable why people are upset, if you were following closely from H2 2011 to H1 2012* & observed all events in that time-frame, then you'd understand.
Anyway, lets not continue the off-topic banter, folks can start a separate thread if they want to continue discussing this...
Personally I'm not the least bit interested in participating in such a thread, as we've had gazillions like that, and they're pointless now.

*ideally a larger time-frame, but that 12mths is the basic prerequisite

Pushed a few changes to git today, includes some fixes and RT as new tweet.
Made some icons. Hope you know where to place them. all in icons folder of theme.

feature request: change the tweet grouping from 6 hour based to lower granularity - like 1 hour. Every time i accidentally scroll a small vein is bursting in my forehead

I really like making the default twitter to black theme but unfortunately, after incept install this, I can't install apps and suddenly my phone won't boot up. I tried RD mode and still no progress. So, I reflashed my device instead with the LEGACY.bin. Does it have any difference when flashing using Nokia Suite? Thanks.

Also happend to me on my N950 - my problem was that my installed twitter was not the latest from the repos so it broke my installed packages integrity which I was not able to fix because of AEGIS restrictions...
After refalsh with the leaked pr1.3 I have upgraded the twitter client to the latest and now it is working ok.

Yeah, right. My twitter was still not updated to the latest version so I got this problem. Does the leaked pr1.3 on Navifirm has any difference with the one on Nokia Suite?

I think splash screen surely needed an update! It was very old school.

I have made a new clean black splash screen with new twitter logo.. Hope you like it...

Note: There are three files with same kind of splash screen needed, so download this image attached, and make two duplicates of it. Thus all three files should be named as:

twitter-profile-splash.png
twitter-splash.png
twitter-tweet-splash.png

Put all in /usr/share/twitter folder

You can install the update normally, but will overwrite the mods.
Hopefully , the mods will be made for new version very soon

Hey everyone I'm clearly doing something wrong and I'm not getting this to work...

-I have downloaded the dark them .deb
-I am incepted
-I have the latest ver. of twitter (stock)
-when i try and install it, it says "Cant install, the application has already been installed from a certified source."
- I have tried to copy the dark theme deb into /usr/share/twitter via file browsers and through terminal. With a you dont have permission to do this messages popping up.

What am i doing wrong?
