textsecure protocol is open of course, but currently it implemente only on android and mitakuuluu. if you see lock icon near nickname it means chat is encrypted.

because i remember you said something about implement libaxolot wich if i dont go wrong, it is that protocol. im ignorant about that so i thought that if a protocol is open there's no need to work a lot about implement it. but seeing your hard work i understand that i dont know anything about that ..im just curious

So far Mitakuuluu3 is working pretty good. Here are some findings.

1. Sometimes, ghost image of another screen shows up behind Conversations list view. It is hard to get rid off until you close the app and start again. See image.

2. Names of some members of groups showing as Unknown.

3. Message pop up open/close dialog becomes annoying for some high traffic groups :-) Hopefully you will implement some ways to disable this dialog globally or by group/contact, when you are ready.

libaxolotl have complete implementations in Java and C# by TextSecure, To other languages it should be ported.

Yes. I didn't realise it earlier, but the content shown behind the Conversations page is the content from a Group Chat window, I previously viewed. Apparently it didn't get cleared, when returning to Conversations page?

Anybody is having an issue where mita connects and then closes?
I only noticed that it happens when I have network connection, if I am offline it stays on.

Could it show the person's number or pushname instead?
I'm not sure did I understand your sentence right, as in are you going to do so they would show or did you just mean to save them in your contact list. Anyway, because I don't know their numbers I can't save them.

Will be possible to migrate from Mitakuuluu 2 to 3 without re-registering? I cannot register again, since I don't own anymore the mobile number I use as identity. But Mitakuuluu 2 cointinues working with that number and I want to continue in that way.

I could sync few contacts manually, but some of those cant be synced.

Any idea why?

I really hope you are fixing this message to wrong group thing.
When I send a message to one group it automatically (usually) changes to another group (well now it doesn't even change the layout but still does next>) and if I don't notice this it sends my next message there.

I don't know do you, and how well you know about this, but it has gotten pretty annoying.

I also have this problem since today. I tried the app the two days before, and it worked fine. As soon as internet connection is re-established, the app closes.

Another "problem" I have:

The conversations from the android version have been imported and they are shown when a contact is selected from the contacts list. However, if I write a message and send it, this text is shown at the very top of this list although the imported conversation ends and the bottom of the list. Also, if I close the contact/the app and open the contact again, my new message is not shown. I first have to select "load old conversation" and then all the converstation newer than what was imported (in fact all messages I sent and received since using this app) appear again at the top of the list.

Hope this is clear, but I can't be the only one? (haven't found this in the earlier posts).

Anyway, this looks very promising, so I will send a donation soon :)

I took this alpha release for testing, and it seems that messages are arriving only when mitakuuluu is working on backround.

So this what I just added the picture, it is working. But when I close it from that point, then it does not receive anymore. (Now I understand, that I was saying wrong words for this case)

So when it is foreground, it works, but when closed to the backround (not visibly running) then it does not receive messages.

should be fixed: reconnecting, android import (there is no fix for already imported conversations), keeping application working after closing when connected, changing conversation title and picture to other.

I am waiting to a more stable version, while I work with Mitakuuluu2. I think that there are some basic functions not available yet, and since I won't be able to register again I don't want to risk to lost my registration.

I was using mitakuuluu3 for couple of days and it is very nice... but it crashes a lot...If i for instance close mitakuuluu3 after sending message to someone and trying to start it again it doesn't open...it crashes...
(where to find crash log ? so i could send you ?)

there is no easy way to get crash log. if you want to help you need to install gdb and crash application in debugger and then show backtrace.
Or you can just try to run app in terminal and see error crashing app.

It means mitakuuluu3 process already running, but it somehow failed to spawn window. Application not crashed.
