Does anybody know where I can find the preferences for the reboot button in top menu?

In Developer mode. Not the most obvious place, I'd agree with that.

Sadly backup and restore is completely broken for me.
I had an old backup from april as .vault and copying it over to C worked as expected.

But the ui feature is not working at all.
First i tried to "Updated Backup". A nice looking Circle spin shows it is working through contacts, apps and so on, but ends with an error it could not write or something.
But it created a 320Mb Backup tar file on the Btrfs SD nevertheless, so i copied this file to a new ext4 sd and plugged into C.
Restore did not work from this file as expected, an error was thrown.
Now i tried to backup from 2.0.2.45 Tablet to ext4 SD. Error.
I ended up reformating the SD in different machines and tried again, no luck.
Also i could not update the local backup in .vault. The ui always cried for an SD to be present to backup to.
I have not tried FAT SD, should i?

Your issues might be to do with this?:

Currently the backup and restore operations are limited to the size of the /tmp partition, which is typically around 1GB when empty. If this condition is not met, the backup operation creates an erroneous backup, or the restore operation fails to restore the backup correctly. A fix is underway for this, but in the meantime, you can clear the contents of /tmp before doing a backup or restore to maximize the available space. If you have very large files that cannot be well compressed (e.g. videos) or a sizeable collection of large files (e.g. photos) that will cause the /tmp limit to be exceeded, move these to the memory card or some other off-device location before starting the backup/restore. Note that videos and images are not included in cloud-based backups so this is predominantly an issue for memory card backup/restore operations.

Yes that's it! My backups have been ~2Gb since a long time.
I hope it is solved in final.

anyway, good that we have a real reboot now.
I expect that from devices that are ment to have maximum uptime.

I found this option very early when I updated to 2.0.2.x but I never found a pulley menu containing the reboot. :D

Never even knew such a menu existed and was looking through every pulley I could think of. "Top menu", sheesh... the terms are getting distracting.

I don't complain the functionality is now more generally available, but I still find SailfishReboot more convenient for my use.
