Has anyone tried an outlook.com Exchange account anyway? Googles services were the only ones that are supposed to work on any platform ever until they dropped ActiveSync support. |

Re: Jolla User Experience Thread
The slot is supported. My SD car would not work at first then it suddenly appeared. It is fat32 16gb card. I did check what was on the card by plugging it into my win7 machine and it threw errors, which I fixed. It started working after this, but not sure if that was relevant. Swapping TOH backs also seems to cause some issues.
One thing that does not work is support through my win PC when the Jolla is connected. I can see the phone but not the sd card  |

Generally speaking of reboots, there has been zero Sailfish crashes this far for me. Those were intentional troubleshooting this problem. |

I haven't received my Jolla yet, I can't confirm compatibility but I see no reason why it wouldn't work. |

I have not tested Gmail-app or Hangouts as gmail imap works natively in Jolla, and I don't want Android sync services running wild on the phone. There is also a slight problem that there is no regular android settings app where one could disable stuff like all around android sync settings or location services. Or at least I have not found one yet. |

Re: Jolla User Experience Thread
I got my device from Narinkkatori Wednesday and after few days with it, I can say that I like my Jolla a lot and don't see any possibility to going back to other mobiles. There are missing features, some bugs and usability issues, but I think that I can live with it anyway. This post is mainly about positive things I have noticed in these few days.

how can you know it's annoying without having it used? It works lovely on Firefox on Android.

Re: Jolla User Experience Thread
Have a number of frustrations which have caused me to wipe the phone 4 times so far
It has taken 4 wipes before the phone has recognised the white other half and installed the theme It doesn't recognise the orange one at all But the biggest issue is that it won't download from the jolla store - I get a message which just says "problem with store" no matter what I try to install I'm beginning to get very fed up with this. I've checked the date, time and time zone are correct. I've tried a battery pull. I've tried disabling wifi and accessing the store over 3G. I've tried the various wipes I mentioned, but now have no idea what next to do Be glad of any suggestions. Also doesn't seem to install dev mode either - nothing happens when I accept the terms  |

The bag that poppy red The Other Half comes in has a transparent front side, fits the Jolla nicely, is waterproof plastic, and you can operate the touchscreen through it.
In case you want to read eBooks in the bath tub... :D |

Re: Jolla User Experience Thread
Stick with it Richard . When i got back to the uk.i did a fresh install with the red oh in place and it sorted the issues, some of which i think were caused by uk sim on Finnish network .
Phone has behaved itself except for deleting all the non OH ambiances. |
Re: Jolla User Experience Thread
I will don't worry. Phone feels like it needs deep cleaning and start again TBH. I'll try that and see what happens
Am far more likely to be put off by the excessive capcha on this site - my eyes aren't good, haven't got one right yet!! |

Re: Jolla User Experience Thread
Does Vine for Android work? Watch & record videos?
What about Android instant message apps? It shows notifications, is integrated with the phone, the LED blinks, etc or do we have to keep looking to the app to get the messages? What if I close the app, say WhatsApp or Steam, the notifications still pops up? |
Re: Jolla User Experience Thread
Hey,
what about number recognizing in the phone app, Like in N9, if you have numbers with different names like 0401234567 and 0501234567 the N9 shows just numbers, uuh... How is it with Jolla? |
