Only a professional troll would consider themselves far too important that they are able to pass over an opportunity such as this to have their opinions heard. As we all know, the internet is serious business ;)

And come to think of it... How would a Troll fill out a Questionnaire?

:D

I got another message, here it is:

Hi again. I want you to know, that I an not jocking. I am being totally serious. I promise not to put any of your responses on the forum. It is between me and you. But, if I ever do publish the book, I may share it there, but not with any identifying info. If there is any potentially identifying info, I would request your permission before publishing it. The idea is to get your cadid answers to a series of questions so that people can understand where you are coming form. Who knows, you may even gain a few insights about yourself by doing this.

I like the latter part how I will gain insight into myself :)

RM2: I be happy to answer your questions here in public. Why make it private, since you are trying to write a book anyways, it will be public one day or another.

And remember, one man's troll, is another man's enlightment :)

Cheers bud.

Lumiaman,

Because this is only the research stage, the fact and data collection stage. Afterwards, I will have to analyze it and see what emerges from it. Then, if I think I have something insightful and worth publishing I will, but not without your permission.

So, by necessity, the questions are exploratory and range broadly in different areas. That is how research is done. However, some, if not most questions are very personal in nature. I think you will be able to be a lot more candid doing it in private.

Look, you don't have to participate if you don't want to. But, I really think this could be a very interesting project for everyone.

Same here now, it's more nonsens than ever since its not even closely related to jolla. It bad all over. Luckly for us, we will have a brand new thread soon, with a brand new sdk and uis to smile at. That can't even the most grumpy-old-my-posts-are-so-good-all-the-time get to the most popular word around here: nonsense.

There are also other sub pages/forums with less members and great info related to jolla. Don't put the name out so all negations find their way to my golden cave.

I'm looking forward to read all this healthy discussions and contribution threads after the 21st. Until then, I see now reason not have a to use this thread in the best way possible. Posting stuff related to jolla and educate the community. Invite all knowledge to this thread as soon as possible. Doesn't matter how big or small. Just share what you know.

Whats intressting is that Jolla don't answering any questions on twitter, but refer to mer all the time. Mer has this, but mer has that. I know jollaos are built on mer. Would it be safe to assume jolla have Zypper as well...I hope they do jolla has that or sailfish has that after announcment.

Jolla does have Zypper, I recently asked them. And yes, they started to refer the OS as Mer. Suspicious if you ask me.

Obviously Jolla uses Zypper if they use Mer. It's good that they stopped their PR based on the Meego name (which is obsolete) and started referring to their base with real name (Mer).
