New version 1.2-5 uploaded to the repository.

Fixed an issue with UK channels being 1 hour behind as the data source does not account for daylight saving.

Do you mean show the details of the programmes in a different language ?
Whatever information the data sources have is what you get to see for your region, unfortunately the app does not translate this into different languages , that was not the intention :).

I thought a translation for the menu.

sure I'm happy to translate this app to any language you like.
I had translated my other app buddy to many languages and trust me it was a nightmare to use google translate to translate each phrase into many languages.

I'd appreciate if I can atleast get some help in the english-->"your language" translation. I will do the neccessary code changes then and repackage.
If anyone is up for it let me know and I can send across a file with english phrases and you can translate them for me in your language.

thanks

Hi krk969! I like showtime very much but I'm missing some german channels like 'phoenix' and 'n24'. I'm not very familiar with xmltv and so I searched and found the xmltv.info site including an xml file which includes the tv stations in question.

May I ask you to include the missing german tv stations in showtime from this xml file?

Hi Jehan,

this is the source Im using for germany => http://www.xmltvepg.be/rytecxmltvskyde.gz
can you compare the source you have provided me with this and see which one is better for germany.
Other users from germany also please take a look if you can.

currently showtime can support only 1 source, its a bit more complicated to support multiple at the moment and I will enhance it in the future.

I'll wait to hear.
thanks.

@Strutten/Torpedo , thanks guys for offering to help, I'll send you an xml file that will contain english phrases in <source> field and you need to fill the language translation in the <target> field,
I'll explain it properly in an email or PM to you, any questions feel free to msg/mail me.

cheers

Language Translations for Showtime

4 Attachment(s)
Hi Dr.MZ, torpedo48 , Strutten, g0dzilla,

Attached are the files for translation to German, Italian, Swedish and Russian.
the file format is qph but its a simple xml file with each phrase in this format. You can open this in any editor, Notepad++ is good but you can use any.

Code:

<phrase>
    <source>search title window</source>
    <target>your translation goes here</target>
</phrase>

if you need any clarifications feel free to get in touch.
Also if you wish to use QT linguist tool to learn something new, I will be happy to help.

@Strutten, I have also included the .po file for swedish, if you prefer that.

thanks everybody for helping to translate.
Once all are done, I can make the neccessary changes and repackage Showtime, would prefer to do it all at once if possible, so you can post here when done so the rest know.

P.S . if there is anybody who could help with any other language translations , please let me know.

cheers
