chances are pretty slim, vertsms was and still intended to enable portrait sms sending stuff, nothing more.

btw yesterday there were huge progress: I got åäö working with native qt app.

my plans are to remove the sms sending part completely from vertsms and outsource it to ssms cli app I am working with.

the biggest issue now is to get the ssms realize command line flags (that is btw million times more complicated than with python ;) ), after that it should be fairly easy to update sms sending into really functioning one (works just like integrated messaging app thanks to qtmobility)

I know nothing of coding so i could be totally off here, but as portrait-wide already works and VertSMS has the qwerty, is it not possible to just merge them?

it would probably be easier just to implement qwerty to portrait-wide.

the qwerty is just a bunch of buttons with different text and size compared to this example:

I like this app for cleaning up the GUI.

Do you have plans to add support as the predictive text input T9 system?

Synchronize with application "Conversation"?

guys, vertsms is great! but when i try sending sms it doesn't arrive!! why??? any helps??? please, i like very much this app!!

I've the last firmware 1.3. Do i need to install any other package??

I cant star vertsms :( I get this from terminal
