but flashed openkernel and custom rootfs, and doing this by hand for now but I think I should build a deb of those scripts ... What part is unclear on this page : http://rzr.online.fr/q/rootfs |
Re: Chroot Scripts for Harmattan Open Mode
Sorry for not reading through the whole thread to see if this has been reported again (it is not reported in the first and few last pages).
With estel's debian image the "+kb" Xephyr parameter is not supported and throws and error. It works just fine if you just remove it from xephwm |

However, as I already did the whole procedure for HarmChom (above quotation), I'm just wondering why it does not work, in case it does not require much time to solve. |

Re: Chroot Scripts for Harmattan Open Mode
Ok so now I tried again to follow the whole procedure from the beginning after reflash with PR 1.3, and I still get the error. I really don't know what is wrong: it is the third time I follow each step of the how-to on Post #57, and I always get the same mounting error. This time I replaced the opensh commands with ariadne, as I use Inception 0.2 with PR 1.3, but no more success.

Re: Chroot Scripts for Harmattan Open Mode
I'm not sure anything changed (except from ariadne instead of opensh because of Inception), as I got exactly the same error when I was in PR 1.2. I just have no idea of what may cause this mounting error. I use the default m5e-v5 image and its path in /home/user/.chroot is OK.

Re: Chroot Scripts for Harmattan Open Mode
Is it possible that the error I get when trying the "debian" script would result from too low space available? I have 795 MB free on /, 1.60 GB free on /home, and 1.29 GB free on /home/user/MyDocs. It's less than the image size, but if I understand well, the mounting process does not actually use space, it justs sets a directory (/.debian I guess?) to "browse" the .img.ext2 file, right? I tried the default .img.ext2 file in the first post, as well as the Sci version provided by Rcolistete on his blog. Both lead to the same error, which is exactly the one I also had when in PR 1.2:
