2.6.28.10-cssu3 does not provide the needed features, you have to install KP52.

For sure KP52 is in the repos. Open HAM, select Catalogs from the drop-down menu, open extras-devel catalog (or whatever it is called on your device) and change the distribution from fremantle-1.3 to fremantle.

How does your repositories (catalogues) list in HAM look like (with details of each repository)? Please copy-paste it here, maybe there is a typo somewhere in there.

hey, pls see attachd, my Extras-Devel catalog set up. The url may be incomplete, "http://skeiron.org/repo/repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/".
see also, the Linux Kernel for Power Users I have (@handaxe)....but when I 'uname -r' on terminal, its shows KP51.

thanks for the assistance so far.

"http://skeiron.org/repo/repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/" is the mirror repo used while maemo.org repos were migrated to community infra.

you should use "http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/"

Have answered in other thread. Spreading posts on the same topic over different threads is unhelpful.... even irritating :)

Sorry if I irritated you, but pls also note that this featured on 2 different issues but the solution appears to be the same, "get the right kernel first".

am still workin on it, thanks so very much for your assistance. Will update when/if I get thru successfully.
