You might wanna check this unfinished release.
Mainly trying to fix the space in username issue, and some refinements to editor window dragging, hopefully more usable now. And a copy text option for posts Let me know if you can log in with space in username http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30937627/for....1.5_armel.deb |
Re: [WIP] TMO Forum app - New updated release
Thank you for starting to work again on this bibek. Great improvements over the original!
I had given up using the original as it had too many rough edges (and crashed constantly), but I can see myself starting to use it again. Few things (maybe others have reported these already): - Images in posts don't seem to display correctly - The date of posts is not sometimes shown (only time is shown then) - Crashing still sometimes. I had this happen more than once at least in the New Posts view. Especially when I refresh after having the app idling for awhile (few hours?) |
Thanks for your feedback and appreciation :)
Could you elaborate the case of image not displayed properly? (you can long press a loading image to open the url in browser, in most cases, the reason is a url pointing to a link which doesn't have a direct image) Date is not shown by default if the post is of Today. Or did you find a bug? Or you would like to still see the TODAY tag? About the crash, yes, I got it too, happens sometimes after idling. Crashes with the error SEGMENTATION FAULT. Anyone having idea what kind of error that is?? |
