Here i'm using thumb libc6 + pulseaudio from cssu-devel and
stop/start pulseaudio works fine, OMP playing mp3 and flac files works perfectly without any crash.
(libc6 2.5.1-1eglibc27+0m5+cssu2+thumb0, pulseaudio 0.9.15-1maemo44+0m5+0cssu6)

I've been trying to build Jasper (http://jasperproject.github.io/documentation/software/) to see if I can get it to work with maemo and if it is worth looking into further. I've hit a couple of snags though.

m2m-aligner fails due to disambiguous stringstream definitions (or something like that) when built with gcc 4.2, which may be why debian are using >4.4 on armel and armhf. As a result I'm thinking of targeting thumb exclusively for now. Not ideal but works as a test.

The real concern I'm having is mitlm, as it requires gfortran to build. I know there's 4.4 and 4.6 in the repo, but how feasible would it be to build and link one based on the same sources as thumb toolchain?

@xes: As freemangordon wrote, better would be to revert back to non thumb version of libc... I really have no idea where is problem...

From my point of view stability is the first thing.
Anyway (to avoid misunderstandings) in my N900 also thumb version of libc is working fine and i have also tried to reproduce your crashes with flac files without success. It works perfectly.

Maybe a better idea is to find what is the problem first, as it could be something in PA that thumb-glibc exposes

Hi everyone!
After update to latest CSSU (Tmaemo9.1+thumb1) the picodrive does not want to start any ROMs and exiting with following error:
Cannot initialize gstreamer
Error initializing pipeline: Caught signal 11, exiting...
Anyone can help?

hey , i found it funny that after installing mscim-n900-ppinputmethod i can use Traditional Chinese . but i need Simplified Chinese.it depends on n900-locales-ppchinese. so i think whether n900-locales-ppchinese works.is there a way to create a patch like n900-locales-ppchinese to solve the problem?
