Same here. Butterfly sucks that way: after a while it decides it no longer knows how to log on to MSN and only a reboot will fix the issue. You can try disconnecting and reconnecting your wifi / 3g data connection and sometimes that will fix the problem. I hope Haze works better in this regard. Never had this problem with Skype or Gtalk.

what are you saying? i mean. i never heard of one msn account logged in at 2 places at the same time. the 8 years i have been using it it was impossible. try it on your pc.

or do you mean something else?

First of all, guys, realize that these plugins aren't final. EXPECT THERE TO BE BUGS, AND WHEN YOU ENCOUNTER ONE, DO A BUG REPORT.

Also avoid downloading apps from online. We already have our own "App Store" of totally free software called the Application Manager. If something you want isn't found in the Extras catalog, it hasn't reached the stage where it is reliable enough for the masses. You can enable the Extras-testing and Extras-devel catalogs, but do so at your own risk. These catalogs are of works in progress.

So don't enable preproduction software and begin saying, "it sucks." Honestly, that pisses me off. The guys working on these apps and add-ons work for free, and usually have jobs and families to feed. We should show more respect. They could easily keep these apps private until they're completely bug free, but were nice enough to allow us to enjoy them and their working features now, in hopes we'll help test and contribute to their development.

So show these developers some love, or I'll break your thumbs. Ok, maybe not both of them, but still...

Thanks for your post and I completely understand where you are coming from. I've already had my N900 for two weeks now and am loving it. My wife gets hers tomorrow and is gonna stop using her Touch Pro 2 which she loves btw because of an awesome ROM I installed for her on that phone.

So is aMSN considered one of those that aren't final yet since I can't find it in the App Manager section of my phone? I still downloaded it today and installed it but haven't had a chance to try it. It's my wife's main concern since she chats with friends overseas on MSN Messenger from her TP2 and if she can't easily do this with the N900, she may just sell it and stick with the TP2.

When we say aMSN is buggy, this only means the app will not work in all the best ways possible right? It doesn't mean that it will ruin my phone or possibly brick it? If so please let me know and I will uninstall that thing right away. I downloaded it from the new beta site called www.my-maemo.com where they had hundreds of apps but I'm assuming none of those are ready yet. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks again man!
