I have the same problem! Bothe Catorise and catorise-gui installed, but the menu is normal. No categories at all. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a category called Others that was created by Garnet VM.

When trying to move other applications to this Others category using Catorise GUI I see there is no change at all. I can move any application to any category except to Others. Any clue?

It is not dealing with the shortcuts created by the WebOS Games Manager very well, they only show in the All folder (i can't find them on Catorise GUI either)

I think Catorise only triggers newly created .desktop files after installing a new application. Try to install something and then use Catorise GUI to put the new shortcuts in the section you want..
