right, that's the latest version. when you to go videos, you see local videos and youtube, right? once you select a video for viewing, this video quality options should pop in the bottom of your screen.

I have updated again with version 2010.07.24. Now resuming works.
Same version-info. Don't know what was wrong.
How can I autostart mafw in background, that the remote works?
Another thing: Is it possible to move to the last player playlist directly when
opening the app?

I have purchased a new phone, it is loaded with latest firmware. It has media center installed. The problem is how do I create playlist and put different songs in playlist according to my selection and choice?

My phone does not has you tube downloading function? Something wrong? I have pre-installed media player and latest firmware.

Do I have to install media box separately? After installing how do I use or activate it? Today I downloaded Mediabox and installed it. but I don't see any icon to activate or using Mediabox in application menu?

Yes, mediabox is a separate app. To get the latest and greatest, you will have to enable the extras-testing and/or extras-devel repositories. It is probably a good idea to disable them after you download.

A pause-bug is still there:
If i pause and replay immediately or a few minutes later, resuming works.
But if I pause and resume about 15 minutes later, the current track starts
from beginning.
Another thing: I have videos, where nautilus detects fmp4 as videocodec.
When using mafw as backend, it plays a few seconds, then the screen
becomes black and audio stops. The time is still running. With the mplayer-
backend it plays. The Nokia mediaplayer plays it without problems.

I have a question about scanning files. Is it possible to set scan only on desired folders? Now I have like 30 or so unknown albums and that are sounds and voices of Sygic MM. Is there some setting I've missed or what. It's not a problem selecting the one I want but makes otherwise pretty nice UI kind of messy.

Yes, you can disable Tracker (or Metalayer Crawler on Maemo4) support in "Settings -> Media Index" and scan the folders manually. Browse to the folder with MediaBox and hold down on the folder's icon. A menu will popup where you can select "Scan for Media".
