Is there way to only upgrade MY phone with the new_firmware.bin, without losing everything (reflash)? I do not want to do that, because of the Ovi store and that annoying 5x download limit to my apps, what i BOUGHT... Harmattan backup is way much worse than N900 and restore is pain to my *** :D.

This is in PR1.2?
Today when I was going from I-10W and at the junction of I-5 and US-101, the instruction of keeping left or right was totally wrong, good that I have driven there more than hundreds of time.
Hope that will be improved in PR1.2

Is there any US traffic information on PR1.2?
It has to have that to make it comparable to Google Maps on Android.

Then its time you switch to this thread ;)

Why, if anything that thread should be closed.
It's silly having everyone split between two threads.
This one's been way more active overall...
And this is the more appropriate sub-forum for this kind of thread.

before: yyyymmdd_xxx

e.g. 20120201_001.jpg now becomes 12020001.jpg

Is there a setting for this? Perhaps Language / Region?

Is it me or some devs are also testing PR1.3 (49.2012.05-4_TR_001) for N9 :)

Only 3 weeks older code base. So expect no wonders. As far as I read somewhere else PR1.1 and PR1.3 are mainly there to fix bugs in PR1.0 and PR1.2. No new features!
PR1.2 is a feature update as PR1.4 could be one if the development is going on...

But this post is a good sign... lets hope for a PR1.4 and some more updates. They made so far a very good job! :)

Can anyone confirm that, when dialling a number, does the phone offer dial assit to find the contact person fast?

Any notable differences / improvements on the FB client?

Not sure if this requires an update, but when typing, where are the ldft and right arrows to easily navigate back and forth to fix words and spelling, it's annoying to try place a finger in the middle of a word and place a missing alphabet, esp if the word is not in the dictionary.

If you're using the swype keyboard, you can swipe the swype (:p) key from left to right and the directional arrows and other functions will appear.

Another alternative is to tap down on the text area and hold until the magnifying glass pops up, at which point you navigate to the area you want to fix. Infinitely easier than trying to tap the exact spot.

It's not the swype key, I think. It's the next one, the "+!=" one.
