Also I like that with 2.0 volume button is working quite nicely. When you have music playing it affects to that. And othervise it affects on ringtone volume. I like to change it from time to time so its now much more usefull. |

I open the app launcher ("app grid"). Tap on an icon representing a folder. Change my mind. Tap on an empty space. Voilá, I am back in the app launcher. Exactly where I was before and where I wanted to be. |

I personally prefer the app launcher as it is. It makes it more obvious that it is a menu and not part of the home screen. Unlike the previous situation which was rather confusing. Now that the home screen can scroll if there are more than 9 apps open (I know, very unlikely with the OOM problems), you need the separation. However, I agree that the four favourite icons could be done differently. I would not miss them if they were abolished altogether, for the sake of consistency. But the ideal state of affairs would be having a separate desktop and apps manager, like on the N900 or on any desktop or even any other mobile since the dawn of time. Then you can put as many favourite icons there as you want. |

I would really like that 4 top to be showed like it is when your "multitasking" view is empty. If you just press quickly it will show those 4 apps/folders.
One could then have multiple most favorite apps open and then access to 4 different folders -> just by clicking empty space. |

Only problem is that it has not been fully implemented and it does not work as soon as 1 application is minimized. Why not have a single tap on empty space to bring up 4 items favorites menu for 1 or 2 seconds? There will be enough empty space thanks to OOM and frankly favorites menu should not be limited to 4 or a single row. Let the user decide this. Alternatively swipe up shortly from bottom for favorites to display for 1 or 2 seconds which are clearly seperated by a horizontal line from other apps. As long as you keep launching favorite applications, focus stays on favorite menu. Longer swipe will then bring up the full grid. Full grid of course should be animated by translucent ambiance backgrond, not black  |
