Oct 21st and showing 'pending stock'.

On a side note, I feel that Nokia should spend a little more time making sure they actually get their products to customers and a little less time on overblown promotional events with talentless no-hopers like Rihanna.

Of course, this is just an opinion. ;)

Oct 22nd for me and showing as pending

Have sent MPD the following mail

Morning Everyone,

There are some very disturbing rumours that the n900 from yourselves has now been delayed to the end of the month. There are numerous postings on the ‘nokia conversations’ support forums claiming to have spoken to members of your staff and have been told that delivery for pre-orders has been delayed to the end of the month.
Additional evidence is beginning to crop up on the Maemo site as well.

http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=8297

Can you please confirm or help with the following questions please

Have you had delivery of the n900 yet?
If not, when are you expecting delivery?
Are you planning to update the people who have pre-ordered via email?

Guys, I understand that you are busy, but when people have had the faith to pre-order a phone through you, a simple email to state yes – we have delivery, or no- we don’t have a delivery, but are expecting one by the end of the day, or even a status message saying you have/ don’t have the stock and will not be answering queries via webnote or phone until you have some news would go a long way. It is the not knowing that is generating so many requests for information, and the lack of it is feeding the rumour mill.

After publishing the w/c 16/11/09, you were always going to get alot of queries, but some information would definitely help with the rumours flying around and take some strain off your staff who are probably sick of the whole matter now

Please advise with the latest information?

Kind regards

lets see what response they give out

Ditto.

On a side note, the door bell just rang (it never rings during the week unless we have a delivery or something).

I ran downstairs all excited (despite knowing deep down it wouldn't be my N900), hoping to see a Postie the other side of the door...it was the Avon lady to collect her damn book!!

*Sobs uncontrolably, wishing the suffering would just end*

btw what a coincidence, i have payless leave next week and i've chosen speed delivery :D it means i'm sitting by the door 9-17 every day with my n800 and this thread open :D

People who ordered from Amazon.com (usa) please go and check your order status. I just got an "instant order update alert" about my phone (ordered 11/06).

"The following item will arrive after December 25, 2009."

Needless to say, I'm a little sad this morning. I will probably be canceling my order.

Spoke to them on Friday myself suggesting they sent an email out.

Yep, on the 20th at 17:00 CET they´ll say that it´s coming on the 25th, then on the 26th they´ll fezz up to it being delivered on the 2nd of December. Now on the 2nd of december they´ll say that it´ll ship by the end of December and the saga goes on and on and on and on and on.

But we know that "houston we have a take-off" (of some sorts) and that the phones have "shipped". :p

YES, thanks for that- really- how much time would it take to send a mass email out each time there is a change, to all their customers down as preorder?
I just filled the form in myself, but frankly I wasn't quite that polite this time. I WAS very excited about getting this new phone but the aggro is starting to taint that a bit now.
And actually- why is it (if that's the case) that if the orders were shipped out last Tuesday, that they still haven't received then after a week?

I saw lot of shipments from Nokia Romania to all over Italy (in sum 4 tons) from the 13th to 15th but I don't know what is inside ... so just a thought (via DHL)

Yes, Nokia has shipped N900s to Moon. Nazis on the Moon will deliver them from their huge warehouses to customers on Earth :)

Nokia Romania (the importer, worldcomm) said a week ago that they will have it on mid-december. The Nokia shops from Bucharest know nothing about it ... only one said "maybe in january", but it was just a guess. I can try asking one more time ...

I love to know who is the head of logistics in Nokia or at least a contact. I wonder where they are in the logistics flow. And what do they mean by "Shipped" shipped from QA to shipped or Shipped fom manufacturing to dist or shipped from dist to 3rd party distributor. All I can say the Swedish date that we have is more realistic. And I sincerely hope you all get your device before Sweden if not you will receive it on week 49 like us.

They don't have one - they don't know what logistics is!

Last info from them was a SMS a few days ago telling me that deliveries will start beginning Dec. I could be wrong of course ....

Just talked to Elkjop.no customer service. They say that the order is NOT shipped (and they don't know why it says so on my order status...).

They expect to get the phone later this week, and start sending out to customers in the end of the week or in the beginning of next week... So no N900 for me this week.

Will more than likely be visting the MPD store in Southampton, It'll be much quicker than sending an email to them. I went in for 5mins yesterday and they had one of those "dummy" phones (or whatever they're called) out on display so I guess its worth asking.

Re: OPK: N900 deliveries have now started!!

Ah hem...
Nokia E72 "in stores now" in PR from Nokia.
That was announced shipping on 4 November.

Assuming the factory to shop timings are the same (and there's no reason why they wouldn't be), then we should see devices late this week, or early next.

It *always* takes 10 - 14 days from announcement of shipping (from factory in Korea) to shop in London. Only in this forum to do we demand minute by minute updates...

Hallo,

Just received the following email:

I'm afraid that that is not correct. The release date has been put back by the manufacturer to the 30/11. We will be receiving enough devices on this date to ship out all back orders.

Regards

eXpansys (UK)

--------------------------

I'm near to cancel my oder. But where i have to order it, to receive in earlier ? I can't order it directly from nokia online store, because switzerland in not listed.

regards

Yep...You are completely right.. Personally I'd have just used the other thread until some body actually received the device then created this thread, but some people seem to create threads for any kind of news or info regarding the N900..
