there are 3 contact points which look like something is supposed to be inserted there?? as for the sim card, i would imagine it is obvious from this picture -> http://www.engadget.com/photos/nokia...china/#3277331 the sim card slot is immediately to the right of the left most white sticker (the one with the bar code on it). |

Re: Pictures: Nokia N9 Real leak
<OT> Hmmm - I took out the "eagerly awaiting the RX-71" from my signature many months ago. Will have to put it back in now - but my signature will be 3 lines long. Hmmmm... what to do
I guess silver and black is back in for 'high end' electronics. Reminds me of the early 80's when that was the case. The 5 different "Maemo 6" models that show up in that bug report give me some hope that Nokia will get one of them right (for me). Perhaps there is a 'mini' version as well, since the pictured device looks a little largish. |
Re: Pictures: Nokia N9 Real leak
I'm done underestimating Nokia after today. I am sure the processor will be a 1ghz minimum if not better. Nokia isn't as off track with technology as we think. Remember last year N900 & the Droid were both released with 600mhz processors so they got it right with last years flagship in regards to hardware. If you are thinking the N9 will be thick think again...our eyes play tricks on us because the color silver will make an object look bigger than black would. Infact black is the color that makes things look thinner. Which leads the N900 to look thinner in pictures than you would expect and leading us to believe the N9 is as thick as the N900.

Re: Pictures: Nokia N9 Real leak
So far I like what I see. . . .
Once we see some actual specs on the thing is when I will make my choice. I was really not wanting another Nokia phone after some of the hassle I had just getting my N900 but this phone looks interesting. If the N9 has HDMI and USB OTG along with bumped up specs of the N900 I am sold. |
