Re: [v0.2-5] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
After receiving the registration code it seemed registration was stuck, but it worked when I switched from wifi to mobile data and then re-entered the code.
However, strangely there is a new delay problem, it was gone completely for me on the previous version. This time msgs on wifi get transferred instantly, but on mobile data there's a big delay. Correction: After some delayed messages it starts working again in real-time. (After switching to wifi everything still fine, every time I switch to mobile it starts with the delay and after some time acts normal again.) |

so now it works, i try re-regist again with new code, and than there jumps directly to activateing account without new code.
Bubbles works, another langue works too. thanks :) |

Re: [v0.2-5] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Big big problem for me with the last update : I was in 2.03 and everything worked pretty well, but i saw that a 2.05 was released so i have update it, but when i have opened the app it ask me to enter my number and a "salt password" (WTF is this???) so i enter my number and click on "i have already a code" because i had keep my first code on my sms, but when i enter this code, it send me another, so i have enter the other and it start to check my inscription but nothing hapened, it run and run and run...
What's the problem please?? |

Re: [v0.2-5] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
I HAVE FIND A TEMPORARY SOLUTION :
_Remove the app _Remove the files ".Whatsapp" and "Whatsapp" by connecting the Jolla on the computer _Download the 1.31v of Mitakuuluu and install it _Enter your number & your code And it will works again, this is an old version but this is a temporary solution to use again Mitakuuluu. |
Re: [v0.2-5] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
your old whatsapp sms code expired as soon as your register with it.
salt password need to protect your registration, if left empty attacker can generate identifier and authorize in whatsapp with your account. in old version id was generated randomly and you cant activate account without receiving new sms. but now you can just remember this salt password and enter it in registration window to identify yourself and your account will be activated without sms confirmation. |
Re: [v0.2-5] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
So the next time i will choose a password, for exemple "cupraddict" with my number and in the future i will not need a sms code?

If it was that I reregistered, why was I forced to reregister? Could you please explain this? |
Re: [v0.2-5] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
@Cupraddict right. until you using mitakuuluu :)
@rooster13 its mandatory action to drop whole mitakuuluu database on this udate, sorry i didnt noticed it before pushing update. it was last major codebase change. you'll never be forced to lose your chats in future updates, now it stable enough. and registration fixies are testing right now and update will be released in some minutes. |

Re: [v0.2-6] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
After updating from 0.2-2 (or was is 0.2-3) to these latest ones I lost all contacts and chat history. But that is not the problem
Now when I try to add contacts again, I have at least one contact that I cannot add. It has worked before. No error is shown, nothing just happens. From log file can't find any clear error. Following info found "syncContactsAvailable: "1" " , "got "1" contacts on sync " , "message "Hey there I am using...." etc for this contact. Only error for this contact is that picture cannot be found, well this contact does not have picture, so I think this is ok. Any idea why this contact does not appear to contact list? |

I somehow blocked this contact before I made the update, we had chat minutes before the update. Then update removed all contacts and chat history. After update with new version I couldn't add this blocked contact and also when this contact wasn't on Mitakuuluu contact list I couldn't unblock it. Solution was that I installed android version of Whatsapp, there was possible to unblock this contact. Then I removed android Whatsapp and started Mitakuuluu again. And now I was able to add this contact again. |

Re: [v0.2-7] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Within 20 minutes Mitakuuluu (both 2.6. and 2.7) stalls: 16:38 last seen online. A new message trying to send at 16:56 doesn't get out and doesn't receive new meassages.
After a shutdown of Mitakuuluu and start message is received, but composed message isn't received by the adressed person. Any tips? |

Re: [v0.2-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Cant find problems with latest version, great!
However, seems to drain battery since nothing else has changed on phone and battery is running out much faster. (like before 17.00 o'clock there was still over 50% left, now under 20%) |
Re: [v0.2-8] Mitakuuluu - indie WhatsApp client for Sailfish - Support thread
Can't confirm the battery drain.
My Jolla was always running out of battery really fast, like 70-90% per Day. Two days ago I removed and re-inserted battery because of some problems, don't know if that solved it or not, but... Yesterday I set the suspend policy to early again, just as a test. When I tried this before, it would drain 30% in one hour. Now, however... almost no battery drain. Yesterday the Jolla consumed like 10% from 1pm to 11pm. I unplugged it from charger 50 minutes ago and it's still showing 100%. With Mitakuuluu running and suspend policy still set to "early". I can't really believe it, I just hope it stays this way :D |
