I received the invite at 19 November 2014 at 10:13. I ordered at 11:05 but the Early Bird perk of 189 USD was gone already. I think those are the ones handled first now.

Can I suggest adding your tablet contribution dates too? This might be helpful for us and those late contributors to gage how many are shipped/sold and where they are in the queue. ie...

I'd suggest a location too for those with invites, I presume some people with low numbers could be bypassed* in order to test out the process for every locality.

*Obviously they could still ship in order of funding.

Same thing here, I was not in the first handful but if I recall correctly something on the order of #30...#40 or so.

I ordered mine on March 29th 2015. No order number as far as I see.
Estimated delivery June 2015. I think they got the year wrong.:rolleyes:

I thought I ordered quite early, but turns out to be 9th December so I'm about 20 days behind you guys :D plus 10 working days for packing, plus 10 days for delivery... yesterdays excitement disappeared quite quickly! :p

Apparently #194 though I remember I was in first 50 who ordered in IGG.

Same here, got #205....But since i was travelling and on a plane back to Finland maybe got bumped back? Who knows....But considering Finland has 5 business days a week 10bd to pack and 5-7 bd to deliver i guess we anyway have to wait 2-3 weeks

Didn't work for me... cart gets emptied and I get given no option to pay. Maybe you were meant to receive the email but you didn't?

Similar date for me, early bird too, no email just yet but couldn't pay with that link. So, 2 possibilities:
1. They fixed the store between you and me
2. You didn't get the email - maybe you use gmail? ;-)

I've ordered my tablet on 19/11/14, I had just missed the first perk so I was in the early second one. On 02/02/15 I did pay for an upgrade and postage, and now my order number is 75xx!

Actually this is kind of nice, as now I can participate in the expectation/hope/despair cycle as I could not before... :p

Since I already had gotten my device on Jolla Gala I just watched in awe as people tore their hair out when the devices were shipped in non-preorder-order (as far as I understood it)

Now I can partake in the carnival!!

(and BTW this is not sarcasm, I do fully enjoy it! :))

Question for anyone who's already paid:

What value is Jolla slapping on the tablet? I would guess it wouldn't be just the contribution amount that one made, since that would be different valuations for the same hardware based on when it was ordered, but never assume, right?

Because it would be super-nice if the price was $199.99 US or less.

(Also, seriously, how did you guys figure out your order numbers? I am confuse, as the kids say these days.)

I ordered November 19 but just missed the very first cut. Paid $204. Was that the same price for those that made the first cut. Also, at a later date upgraded to 64GB and ordered Lastu case. Were there other accessories? Thanks!

Sorry, it is the order number what is visible either in shop.jolla.com - My Orders or in pdf receipt which you can save after payment. The last 3 numbers are 194 with me:)

Jolla store €281.45 for phone, approximately $315.

My guess is that order completion email is send to first 200 - 300 early sailors.

So that means that 3700 - 3800 early sailors did not yet receive email.

I started my order procedure maybe 5-10 minutes after announcement which I watched live from interwebs. There were maybe 10 - 15 buyers so far and when I finished my order there were maybe 100 - 200 buyers then.

Regarding the order number.

I have not seen any number anywhere regarding original order 19.11.2014 - Indiegogo site, Jolla Account or in the emails. My personal best guess was that I maybe ordered around 100 - 150 first buyers.

After getting the order completion email -> I paid the taxes and then got some number which now is # 152.
Is this the "original" contribution number or just number for completing the order at Jolla Shop -> I don't know.

Edit:
Also my guess is that Jolla now will test their order / packing / shipping process with these 200 - 300 first.
After fine tuning the whole process - I would assume that they will send order completions emails to all the rest or how many tablets they have ready at that point.

That also what e.g. Adafruit (a company that produces a lot of electronic hardware for makers and hobbyists)
is typically doing when starting a new production, as e.g. their 'Made in USA' Arduino boards:
- first a few prototypes for testers
- then ship a small batch of few hundreds to verify that everything in manufacturing, packaging, etc. is A-OK
- and only then scale up to the full production
(and note that there is not much to re-invent in a Arduino board!)

Not saying they don't get what they deserve, and I can miss those diesels like plague,.. but ... let's safely assume every single energy giant / airplane - car -manufacturer / tech giant cheats on their customers and the population on large scale.

With the general release of Sailfish 1.1.9, Jolla has finally released an SDK with official support for the tablet!

Tablet apps are now being accepted in the Harbour as well. Along with this, some more help files have been updated to support the tablet, such as Volume, Ringtone, and Ambiance Control and Gestures and Views.

My guess is that their "small group" of early contributors is much less than 500. Maybe less than 100. I would think they are testing end-to-end fulfillment right now, rather than how much volume they can manage at once...

Well, if sharing the pain helps, I was too in the early contributors - I got the 189 ~~euro~~ dollars early bird price - and I did not receive the invite either. Maybe they limited shipping to Finland/Scandinavia? I don't know. Anyway, we will have to keep waiting...
