what's the size of your memory card ?
if 8 GB you must enter this in step 4 :

umount /dev/mmcblk1p1
sfdisk -uM /dev/mmcblk1 << EOF
,6100,C
,,L
,,
,,
EOF

Ok guys, please STOP using this thread for help. I read about 3D acceleration and had to CRAWL all the pages to get the info.

This is good news. All that is left for me to use this on a day to day basis is cellular, and power management. (maybe camera too).

when I'm doing the 1st step to partation the SD card, I've got the error as below. I'm using SSH connected to my N900 via Mac OSX's Terminal....
