Totally off-topic, but very interesting reads nonetheless, Anand is almost always very close to the mark:

The N9 has quite large bevels compared to the current crop. So even a 4.3" screen might fit in the same physical dimensions. But I agree the phone itself shouldn't be larger. I'd prefer a smaller device, like the N9, which packs a punch (inb4 "that's what SHE said!").

As for ARM vs x86.. I must say, with Linux I can hardly care. Cross-compiling seems trivial these days and the lack of proprietary software makes the difference even less significant, software-choice-wise.

Agreed, just nice to see x86 is still still tracking nicely to become a player, well worth a read/skim.

A phone that can't fit in my hand starts to become more annoying and less useful. But then I don't like any tablet over 9" and any laptop over 12" so perhaps I'm not in line with standard opinion.

+3
(because you make 3 points)

A big phone is great for Web content, all forms of content.

But it isn't great for talking or checking the map or whatever while holding an umbrella on the other hand (unless you want to balance it, like you told me in a previous post and would like to have it easily stolen).

How about a phone with a screen on both sides and you can flip it open when you want more surface? :D

Balance the phone is a must otherwise you can use it with one hand. No issus while talking, maps and superior especially while driving.

No downside what's so ever, plus you have lots of great small devices too since you buying bigger and bigger devices :) I would like a quad sim device. That would rock indeed.

That will be epic when jolla announcing it. They are unlike, so why come up with a candy bar like the rest? Doesn't make sense.

When I need a big screen, I use my tablet. I don't need two of those, just a phone that can be used in one hand.

Steve Jobs knew why he wasn't stretching iPhone's screen at all.

I believe the obcession with large screens is going to cool down quite soon. It is a temporary thing only, just like the 3D in movies.

Uh, wrong. And so was Steve Jobs. Big screens and styli are here to stay.
