HI Guys,
Am I going somethingwrng. I don't have permission to move the files using xterm?
Also the directory that the install was made to was ../users/baseq3/ and not /user/.q3a/baseq3/

Does this make a diffrerence?

Just to make sure, are all the default repositories still there and enabled? if you have disabled any it will not work


It does make a difference, I personally ended up using GPE File Manager to copy the files from the directory i originally put it in to the correct .q3a one
p.s. you have to copy the files then delete the original as move does not work from one file system to another

llaadd all the repositories (the default and the extra ones) are enabled and refreshed... :confused:

can you just list the ones you have, i'm just going by my own experience, i'm also a noob at most of this linux stuff!!

If i notice you are missing one which i have you can add even if it's just temporarily

First of all kudos to the developers.

My problem that the movement with gyroscopes is quite difficult. I'd prefer to aim with the the gyroscopes (analog control like mouse) and move forward/backward step left/right with keyboard.

The keyboard configuration works OK for me, although navigating though menus is quite confusing sometimes.

do i need to install something first?

i'v got
- nokia applications
- nokia system software updates
- maemo extras
- extras-devel
- maemo.org extras testing - just add this one, see if that helps

I'm still getting access denied when I use the gpe file manager,.

Also are you saying I need to create the directory /.q3a/ ?

you may need to manually type the location in the top address bar as:

/home/user/.q3a/baseq3/

see if that exists first as it may be hidden

then copy the files into that location
