I just got the same thing trying to install FreOffice. All of the libqt4 dependencies said failed to install.

QT4 is missing somehow.

Arsonist, Laughing Man - are you guys part of the 5-6 that have voted so far??? You can get more karma if you link your T.M.O account to your M.O. account. Theres a few voters that aren't linked to t.m.o so I don't know who's been over there.

Yeah that's a good idea. Most people don't know about testing and the strange login process makes it worse.

I have been voting. Though I'm never quite sure if my accounts are linked. I think so since I get karma from thanks.

Odd... I got a thumbs down from a new account with no explanation :(. It's probably due to the qt4 outage right now and I get to pay for it. *sigh*.

Does anyone know what the deal with the qt4 outage is ? Packages in extras and extras-testing in theory should not be affected by what happens in extras-devel, but I have heard people being unable to install pyqt, but not a proper report so I could track the problem...

Ok I just confirmed that by remove Extras Devel I was able to start downloading/installing PyQt4-Demo.

When I enable Extras Devel I get failures.

Code:

Application packages missing:
libqt4-core (>= 4.6.2-git20100224-0maemo1+0m5)
libqtgui4 | libqt4-gui (>= 4.6)
...
Conflict with application packages: python2.5-qt4-network (4.7-maemo7)
...

So it appears, at least in my case, to be only Extras Devel with the problem.

^ yup extras-devel is def the prob. disabled it and ran a apt-get install pypianobar and it no longer asks for dependencies and installs with no hitch. everything works great now, thanks alot fatal!! :)

Thanks for devloping this app, I really hated running pandora through the web browser.

Yes, well, no guarantees about extras-devel (a bit interesting that it likes to fail with a newer version more than just use the old one which DOES satisfy the dependencies)

Ok. After a confusing hour or so of not being able to login(I know it says a few minutes, but it took longer), I voted. It sucks that someone downranked it(from someone with no Karma or reason at that). Speaking of karma, exactly how does this whole thing work? I just tried using my talk.maemo log in on garage, but OF COURSE, you can't use a space(" ") to in your login there! I'm looking around in my Account settings on both, but I see nothing about linking logins(other than this whole OpenID thing, which I'm a bit confused about, but I will read up on it after work or something). I'll do some searching about all of this, but I did vote on it.
