Half baked or not, the leaked PR1.1.947723499823 is better than the PR1.1.1.

Some thing which I really like are:
1. Phone app orientation can be fixed to landscape or portrait and it works.
2. Can hold the key to get it to type the blue symbol.
3. Proper back button in browser.
4. 90MB free rootfs with many apps and all repositories enabled.

It makes me more excited about the upcoming official release. :)

No not disappointing. PR1.2 is great!
I second the findings of buxz777 and other users saying it works well.

The MicroB browser now handles certain complicated websites better without complaints and the back button greatly enhances the surfing comfort.

Flashing or not? It doesn't seem to be dangerous unless the next and final firmware will ALSO no longer flash the GSM radio correctly. It is up to you.
I remember this to be deemed a tweakers phone, and if you really are a tweaker flashing the thing to ashes in an attempt to reach the highest ... should be your greatest joy. Some of the whiners (?) are now calling people idiots for flashing their devices. They exaggerate a little and if it weren't for those daring idiots they wouldn't have any wisdom to spray around right now.

They're serious and work hard on MeeGo release, there's even accurate information on the previous release.

Who doesn't know it's still under testing? It will take a long time if they're planning a major update, perhaps they should make more minor updates to fix some of the bugs that is annoying in PR1.1.1

As for current "unofficial" PR1.2 or RC version, as mentioned in that thread, only the person having that problem, so I'm not sure if it is because of the update.
But I have another problem with this PR1.2:
1. The previous OVI Store and Maemo icon/shortcut (which have frame like Bookmarks, was no longer available; The icons show some green thing, after I remove and re-add them again, it now shows a normal shortcut icon without the frame.
2. Seems there is a bug in the 4th Desktop, after I customize the Desktop, I click "Done", but it didn't return to normal, still in customization mode, when I hit the middle top, it shows the battery, clock, alarm, etc as if it was already in normal mode.
I found a solution for this by swiping to the main desktop, it's still in Customization mode, press the power button once to bring up the menu, cancel it and press "DONE". Now it's ok.

I found the reason for part 2:
It was caused by OM Weather widget. Not sure why, the widget was on my 4th Desktop since PR1.1.1. Now, after I remove the widget, it was OK, then I re-add again, it was still OK. Probably there is some changes from previous version that cause some instability/incompatibility.

Of course not but its the only way to describe someone who rushed to do such stupid thing. I mean If you are willing to take a risk and flash your device with unfinished/beta software without knowing how to undo/reflash it .... hence ***** or idiot fits perfectly :)
