Btw read-only is solved by rebooting.
Did you download the latest script? Just for sure re-download it again before tryng.

I did. Btw since i ran the script 4 times, the backup is now also the new files... So i can't start from the scratch:(

If you have 7z symlink problem just remove 7z* from /usr/bin and link directly to 7z/r/a. p7zip gives you 7zr, overwriting 7z/7za from full version;p7zip-full overwrites 7zr... install p7zip, copy 7zr to a temp directory, install p7zip-full and add 7zr to it, then something like:
cd /usr/bin
sudo rm 7z*
sudo ln -s /opt/maemo/usr/lib/p7zip/7z 7z
sudo ln -s /opt/maemo/usr/lib/p7zip/7za 7za
sudo ln -s /opt/maemo/usr/lib/p7zip/7zr 7zr

should work.

7zip 9.0.4-1 version (no idea where I got it from) has this fixed from the start.

tks a lot freemangordon.. it worked.. i just installed the n900 script.. it took at 4-4.30 hrs and booff!!! when i executed the test avi it played like charm.. tks a lot..

Guys - I'm struggling to get this work. Even playback of normal movies fails to work. Image attached. Where am I going wrong?

OK, try once again. But first remove any remnants of the script and re-download it again (this is important). And re-read the post with instructions, there is an additional step I had forgotten (to uninstall gstreamer-openmax). Also before running the script copy/paste code from the EDIT section (the one which should make things faster).

Again - you MUST be root all the time (just a reminder :D )

Try to load it with firmware from the green one, that should allow you 1080p playback.

For some reason my phone reboots while creating loop image... Already for 3rd time... I think i'll wait a bit and try later. Meanwhile, can somebody share their "bak" folder with me? I hope it's not illegal, but if so PM me:)
