Yeah I think I already did what what you suggest, or I am missing something.
Currently I have this:

I can choose tools and widgets, but can I choose to see each button (like flashlight) separately ?

Should I use Gconfik to do that ?
I'm failing at finding useful information other than Gconfik to access gconf. Could you share any tips ?

So I installed Gconfik, and I managed to find where the widgets are (FYI: /desktop/meego/status_menu/widgets) but where are the options for System-UI-Tools ?

Hi, i just installed unrestricted system-ui but i didnt get the menu of unrestricted system-ui in settings. what step did i just miss in installation? :confused:

Edit I got internet speed and battery bar in the status bar but not the menu in settings.

Re-Edit Found it, i have to install another deb file named like duicontrolpanel.

try as i might and umpteen reads of the first post, still unable to get this working.

i would appreciate if someone could post a video of this.

have managed to get this installed through n9 Quick tweak 9.8.8 now. through the open mode option insatll.
but after restart home, all i get is battery bar, battery percentage and netspeed.

what about customizations like toggles and others..??

pls someone help.
i also tried installing diocontrol applet and duicontrol dev but installation failed..

could someone guide me??

Hello, i dont know how to make video. but i can write steps how i was able to get this good work of coderus working with my n9.sorry i could not find proper guide on TMO so, i used these external sites.

1. Install inception and aegis. external guide: http://everythingn9.com/the-inceptio...-the-nokia-n9/

2.then after restart, install unrestricted-system-ui and duicontrolpanel. external guide: http://n9hub.blogspot.in/2012/10/led...okia-n9_3.html

3. create the .status-menu folder manually with with user permission, not root. means just open terminal and type mkdir string. not the devel-su.

4. enjoy the awesomeness.

You don't need inception for this. Just follow instructions on N9quickTweak. All is there.

for getting toggles and etc. go to settings - Unrestricted Menu - and select widgets you want.
you might need to create /home/user/.status-menu folder first time manually.
