Re: Sailfish on Turing Phones?

hmm, no word in Jollas press release.
This is a dead duck for sure :D

Maybe Jolla visited new Turing Headquarter and discovered they moved into a drawer?

Rumor mill is starting:

http://www.sss.fi/2016/02/turing-rob...-syy-huhuihin/

Short summary:
  • Local newspaper from Salo (where Nokia had their phone factory back in the day) claims that Turing Phones is planning to start activities in town.
  • Information is based on "other sources". When asked, mayor has commented that he has nothing to comment.
  • Otherwise nothing new in the article, more or less same information which has been floating around here for a while.

This starts to be ridiculous.

Does it come with Nigerian Prince with 5 million $ to
share just if you pre-order?

Perhaps Salon Sanomat based their article on what is said on TMO, in this thread :D A merry-go-around of rumours.

Another one

http://www.digitoday.fi/mobiili/2016...sa/20162196/66

In short, there is a desk drawer-type of subsidiary/company founded in December 2015 with no personnel, permanent residence or anything. This is what we knew already. Also, information and details about the US company are scarce. Lawyer company that is registered as the address of the new company has not answered to requests for contact. So, it surely is a shrouded thing...
