i have 3 orders on 11/5 (2 different addresses), and another 2 (different addresses) on 11/26, none of them have shipped, and i was one of those that got an email from a CSR stating that earliest ship date is 1/15.
anybody know what the last date to submit the rebate is?

Haha! No kidding man. So annoying. I was supposedly put on the 'priority list'. Something tells me that was a napkin that he quickly burned after the phone call. I'm surprised after all the hooplah that they're still shipping later order systems.

Just picked mine up at work (day off) & while the label says from TN 37090; the UPS tracking number on it says Addison. IL as the origin. That would explain why it took only a day.

How is it that some of the "shipped" orders have tracking information, and other's just show "Data Temporarily Unavailable"? Does that at some point switch to a tracking number? Or are many of you receiving the product without any tracking information being available?

Called Dell this morning. The rep was vague about whether the phones were shipped out by Dell or sold on consignment. I asked why mine was taking so long to ship while others had gone out already and she told me that it was because the phone was sold to me under a different promotion. Go figure.

I am one of those who's fortunate enough to get the status changed to 'shipped'. Unfortunately, The 'Data temporarily available' also shows up when DELL updated my page order. Moreover, my account hasn't been charged by DELL.:confused:

There are two ways to figure this out. The active but annoying way which is contacting DELL CSR or the lazy way which is just wait until I go back to my home and see if Santa has delivered my N900 :D

I'll let you know the outcome this evening.

My tracking information is updated on dell. My n900 will arrive any minute now today. Hope its not a dud. Hope for any one that ordered on Nov 5th that the status changes to ship! The wait has been too long.

However, it originated from UPS processing center in Addison, IL and shipped using UPS Ground. at 12/3/2009. Found out using the tracking #.

I guess there's a glitch in DELL system that make the following for some:
1. No automated email notification for shipment
2. Data unavailable for carrier and tracking number
3. Waybill number (from the invoice at DELL website) shows nothing when you google it.
4. Delayed in payment processing (I use Paypal, so some delay is expected, but Paypal already authorized this transaction)

Unless you received e-mail about possibility that your order is delayed until 1/15 like some who posted earlier, keep your hope high.

When you log into your account click on order number then look down for the invoice link, click on it, it'll go into invoice summary page, the waybill number is located on the right side, copy that number and paste it on google, it tells you if its shipping from fedex or ups. If your status hasnt changed to ship im not sure if you will have that waybill number or not.

I ordered mine on 11/26 and the status just changed to shipped 2 minutes ago. I hope this is for real. I ordered and took advantage of the 20% Bing cash back so after all rebates and discounts I will end up paying $379! Not bad.

I made a call to question as why some people got their pre-order shipped on 11/23 while I didn't. If the CSR can made a lot of excuses stories, I also could make up a stories. Here's what I told the CSR:
Me:Four of us pre-order N900 at the same time from DELL small business site. We own a small business and want to upgrade our equipments. Two of us have their N900 but I didn'tHe and the other one got his shipment date delayed to 02/2010. How is that possible?
CSR Immediately transferred my call to another CSR I assumed the supervisor.
Me: (repeat my story)
Supervisor: He explained about limited amount of N900 in the first batch and that DELL is not in control in the amount of N900 Nokia gave them.
Me: asking about when is the next shipment and want to make sure that I did not get delayed as the case of my imaginary friend. I told him my friends and I cannot delay the system upgrade any longer because it's bad for our business, we need all four of the N900
Supervisor: The next batch will be on December 2nd and he made sure that I get one. He even nicely ask if I know the order number of my imaginary friend.
Me: I told them I only know his name, will that help?
Supervisor: I am sorry, but we need Customer number, purchase ID, or order number.

That's my story and I only call them up once. But I confess that I refresh DELL page a bit too many:D Maybe that screwed up my order page.

@rnb89: was your estimated deliver already 2/10/2010 or did it just change to that? I'm assuming you'll get better information once they have tracking information...my delivery date didn't change when it shipped.

My phone arrived about 2 hours ago.

I did the 11/5 deal for $441 and the free 5-7 day shipping.

I never called or even contacted Dell in any way, I was just patient.

Last night my status changed to shipped, my delivery date was update to read 12/4/09 instead of 12/10/09, but the shipping information was "temporarily unavailable." The order page still says shipping information unavailable, but I have it here in my hands charging.

I was apparently given free overnight shipping via UPS despite not contacting Dell at all. Also, I live in IL just outside St Louis and my n900 shipped from Lebanon, TN.

The ship date was the 3rd, but I'm going to go download the invoice and see when the "purchase" date was to see if I might be eligible for the rebate.
