Here's a photo of Mer 0.13 on the SmartQ 7.
My misunderstanding of how to load Mer on Saturday was based on the instruction to "hold down the + key". To me, this meant the top button on the upper left, which has a + sign in its picture. The correct button is the 3rd down on the left. Thanks for helping, Bezeen & Matan! |

Kinda funny how the weather readout is consistently below the graphics. I think i have seen it on target exactly ones when testing X86 releases in virtualbox...

Only a few applications are working under Mer on the Q7. Most apps have a direct use in helping test features of the OS. If applications are your main interest and not exploring Mer itself, I would wait for a later release. |

As an initial development effort, it's not useless at all. And no one has really said it's anything but that, right now. |
Re: Moses SmartQ 5
My Q7 can not flash any firmware now. Every time it shows "Checking firmware failed". Previously it run mer 0.13 pretty well. But it was broken when I pull out the power plug as it was shutting down. It seems nothing I can do now.

sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install fbreader fbreader It is not the latest version of fbreader so it sucks on my epubs, but my non-drm mobipocket files work just fine and because you can remap the keys internally to fbreader (including fullscreen) it effectively seems to work similar to what is in maemo. |
