There is one thing I asked my self: WHY the hell, did some developer claim, that there will be a meego release on June 30th, altough they won't release anything today? :confused:
Are they just making fun of us, trying to fool us, or what?
I don't see any sense in there, talking about a release, when there is no release, at least not today.

Like the PR1.2 Release, or the OVI Store. Back then they told us a release date and couldn't even meet the deadline!

In addition, what's about the promised game: "Jurassic 3D Rollercoaster"? Can't see anything like that in ovi store, altough Nokia promised to put it in, with the PR1.2 update!

I really feel disappointed by Nokia, when there won't be MeeGo-Release TODAY as promised.

In fact I don't have any hope that there will be a MeeGo Release today..

Because that is the day when they intend to release. Today is not yet over, too.

Reading the rest of your reply, I can't help but think that I should emphasise that this release is for developers.

That is, it is will almost certainly not be ready for end users at this stage.

Before you get on your high horse, remember 'time zones'

It is still only 4:00am in Los Angeles on the 30th of June.. so if by chance whoever was coordinating the release was based in LA, it would be still 5 hours before business even opened, and as long as they release it in 20 hours from now they could still keep the promise of releasing it on the 30th of June..

Not all of it was guesses. There have been various bits of information given out about it from the people working on it, and additional bits of information from the overly curious people like myself who have dug into MTouch and other bits and pieces who can make educated guesses about what is coming.

You're right in that it isn't as good as discussing an actual release, but it is natural and human that people will be curious. ;)

Actually I have a reta5ded dog and two cats that think they own the place.

I got my dog and 2 cats together in front on the computer monitor and asked them what they thought..
