Because it doesn't index the .mediaartlocal folder.

Put the album art in de folder itself.

I have created a widget for someplayer http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=965421&postcount=1.

I was wondering if you could provide dbus access to
  • the playing state (stopped or playing)
  • album art
  • maybe some playlist control

Ok, I'll add these functions to d-bus interface. And which playlist control may be useful? May be list of dynamic and user playlists and selecting one of them as current playlist?
I plan next release to this weekend.

This player is far too complicated. I can't figure out how to make a playlist, or add to now playing playlist

  • new d-bus functions
  • new translations
  • minor bugfixes
and may be other new features
