Not sure how much it actually helps, since apps submitted must work on pr1.0 also. So the silly workarounds must still remain :(.

Thats very true :(
I wish Nokia would provide an option where we can force a certain firmware for our apps in the OVI store.
You could do it manually in your app, but that would not be the nice way. Beside of all, i do not see any reason why one should not upgrade, but you never know what reasons the normal users might have. I know enough WinXP users who newer do updates or even backups!!!

How come the app Nokia City Scene from Nokia itself only works for PR1.1 and above? (read the app description yourself to see what I mean...)

I have reported on Beta lab forum that I cannot install City Scene on N950, whether PR1.1 or PR1.2 beta. The devs responded that they're working on a fix.

So now that there's video call support.... What does this mean for us? 3rd Party produced Video call?

N9 with FFC is like an automatic car with third pedal...

FFC is visible to Nokia management now, they thought N9 don't have the front camera before.

I am sorry, but your first sentence (ending with 3 dots) clearly looked like a statement to me
