I just added a mother load of new stuff to the 1st post, also started a Google doc.
I prefer Google Docs, as it allows collaboration similar to Wiki's, but better. If anyone has some great additions in mind for the doc, then please go ahead.* Or perhaps you think it can be better organized? Not one of my strengths :-/ The formatting's foobared at the moment, as it's a copy/paste from the 1st post. Anyone know if Google docs can be set to support forum(html) tags? It'd be ideal as then any changes done, can be easily pasted to the TMO post. Or maybe we should only bother maintaining the Google doc? Much less restrictive formatting/editing, & collaborative etc. I'll be adding a bunch more stuff in the next few hours, & then I'm done for a mth+. Btw, MeeScan fails to install on N950 due to missing libdmtx0. One can get it easily by changing the official N950 repo to the N9 one (001) and running

I wonder whether PR 1.2 would bring back the Contact initial as default Avatar because on PR 1.1, this feature is gone and only replaced with a single Alphabet which the name starts with

Perhaps the Google doc approach would be better with a spreadsheet instead of a 'word' doc? That way you can categorize and columnize the data for better readability. Just a thought...

It's an entirely different system....
(of course there's some nix subsystems they both share, but that means little) It's basically the MeeGoCE work carried on (bit more to it than that). You might find some things here, that also work on MeR/Nemo. But that will be the exception not the norm... |

Tried to enable developer mode for the 1st time, & i get nothing. I have the "Allow installations from non-store sources" enabled, then i turn on the dev mode toggle, click ok to turn on, agree to the uncertified source, then it turns off the dev toggle all by itself & does nothing. Any ideas ?
Edit: Nvm. Just flashed with Navifirm. Worked like a charm. :D |

i was wondering where are the .desktop files of the links that you have created of the websites to the appliactions menu.
id like to edit some of them to launch in fennec, i dont want to use fennec for everything and neither default browser. editing the .desktop file is teh best way for me. any idea where they are located? |

1. If you turn on Skype and have Skype contact merged with your contact list
2. The Skype contact has same phone number with your normal phone list. 3. If you're not online. 4. The person with that skype number in your contact list will not be able to reach you. |

Portrait Keyboard options....
Anyone that has changed the Portrait keyboard layout? For me, to have the keys taller and slightly wider would be great. I'm getting better with the smaller keys but.... How about a T9 style with multitap? |

I've added home screen shortcuts for websites, but the icon generated is a tiny screenshot of the web page. Usually ends up being a white blob with some tiny type visible. (ie: yelp, google reader.)
I'd like to swap out the icons with ones that I create, but I can't find where the icons exist.. or if they do. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

BTW, here's some custom N9 icons I created for different mobile sites that play well with the N9 browser. (Yelp, Amazon, Craigslist, Orbitz, Trip Advisor, Google Reader) Makes the bookmarks look like real apps! |
