Launcher combined 3.0.0 (but under 3.0.1.11 - looks like my fault, too fast, @coderus seems to take it back, sorry) - Something silly: Cannot open folders.

Thanks, indeed uninstalling from PM3 is working correctly. However, I still have a problem with my patches not always appearing in the list when installed.

I will email another log to you shortly. In this case, my patch "hide tutorial icon" is not showing in PM3's list....but it does show if I select "Unapply all patches" in PM3 pulley menu.

Notably, installing the patch again when already installed, we see notification "patch removed" then "patch installed" but this is not happening, now the only notification is "successful install", suggesting it is not installed?

Regards,

Is no one bothered with this, then? It literally drives me nuts.

@Markkyboy

Thanks for your HideTutorialIcon patch.
I took it as base for the attached HideWeatherIcon patch which is quite useful when using MeeCast. As we know having MeeCast installed the Sailfish weather application does not work (blank window), so no need for this icon.
Would you like to take over and upload to PM?

sailfish-weather is an application you can simply uninstall, isn't it?

Sure, you can. Both (MeeCast and JW) use the same directory for some their files, so, @peterleinchen, you need to choose one application. Just delete JW and reinstall MeeCast to restore files. Or vice versa.

You are right. I did not dare to check it! :facepalm:
I had in mind it would break system similar to sailfish-tutorial.

Nevertheless it was fun to create it.
I'll keep it. :D

@ancelad (faster)
afair if I keep JW installed and just remove MeeCast the default JW will again work without any reinstallation

That sounds impossible, because MeeCast replaces Jolla Weather files and vice versa. So if you delete any application, you will miss these files.

Confirmed.
Screenshot after deinstallation of MeeCast.

So conclusion is to deinstall Jolla Weather prior to installation of MeeCast (or use my patch ;) {or deinstall JW and reinstall MeeCast again}).
