Spot the general pattern I have been seeing is the PAL versions of the games seem to have issues. Wipeout XL works perfectly for me NTSC but PAL doesnt load.

No idea why except that perhaps the devs had access to more NTSC roms.

Thanks for that one Bratag, I think to be honest it was just a few bad roms I had, I had a load for my psp a few years ago, bought loads of old ps games down the bootsale, using popstation I just extracted the iso from those and they seem to work. ;)

hey guys i tried GTA2 and it freezes at Loading screen
and now i got final fantasy vii but there is no sound and the video is slow, didn't try the gameplay yet
can i adjust the frame rate in the psx4all or what ? how can i speed it up ?

are you using psx4all or psx4m? ff7 works really well with psx4all on my 1ghz overclocked n900, but goes a bit weird since i switched to psx4m. theres settings here somewhere for best results with ff7 on psx4all, think cycle multiplier between 2 - 4 is about the most effective change.

smoku has said he's ported cycle multiplier to psx4m aswell but it hasn't released yet.

im using psx4all
and i sat the cycle multiplier on 3 (between 2-4) its now a lil faster but not perfect and the sound is back but lagging
thanx for the advice, got any other one ? :)

btw they said everywhere that ff7 is working great, i tried the game and it just crashed to desktop at my first battle at the train station
