Re: Sailfish OS on ONDA V820W V3 and other Intel SoC-based tablets
I know nothing about this particular setup, but generally you want to bring your system up-to-date before installing new software.
Maybe "zypper update" will do it? If that doesn't help, you have to get droid-system-tbj from somewhere and install it manually. |
Re: Sailfish OS on ONDA V820W V3 and other Intel SoC-based tablets
okay not 3.0.0.8 but here it says something about 2. something but it suggests to break the pattern, so i would go with 2 too here https://github.com/tmikkonen/sailfish-onda-v820w

Re: Sailfish OS on ONDA V820W V3 and other Intel SoC-based tablets
somehow everytime i upgrade from 3.2.0.12 to 3.4.0.24 it boots to a black screen. i tried from 3.3.0.16, with the gui in settings with the sfos-upgrade script from openrepos, everytime the same. i don''t know how you guys are able to upgrade beyond sfos 3.4

Re: Sailfish OS on ONDA V820W V3 and other Intel SoC-based tablets
I updated to 3.3.0.16 and made a gz with the command i posted. I installed qt5-qmake and qt5-gui-devel and broke the system. I will try to install it from usb by replacing the gz with mine. This way i hope we can have the highest working version in experiments with 3.4 and saving some time by not having to do the upgrades.

One moment you are on 3.3.0.16 and everything is fine?

Re: Sailfish OS on ONDA V820W V3 and other Intel SoC-based tablets
