changed the look today, back to minimalistic style. Using default alpha theme, custom iphone-style icons + clock widget.

Hey what font is that? That looks nice. Can you shw me how to get that font? Right now I'm using the fonts that came with the blackplastic theme since thats the only way I know of to change the fonts???

I am a big fan of eye candy (despite a huge hatred of Apple). Here are a couple of mods I made to give my device a bit more eye candy:
1. Changed the icons in the application installation manager;
2. Changed the call and sms icons to the iphone ones.

hello everyone,

the last few day's I got obsessed about the idea of making a "portrait" orientated desktop with QBW's to my favorite sites/applications.
Next to one "normal" horizontal desktop,..this is what I came up with.

I like it (also because I did everything on Da N900)

After looking through this thread, I was amazed at what people have done with their N900's, and has really inspired me to have a go at modding my own. So I am only a beginner but thought I would just show what I have managed so far.

icons used are from an iphone set, however, still in search for some higher quality icons.

Theme: an-Droid
Desktop: Black metal
Icons: QBW

Could i know the command that you have used to redirect the QBW to the default applications, like phone , conversations ecc ecc... ?

A topic that contains all this commands (for the default apps) could be a good thing :eek:

At first I was inspired by dandiesel's iphone look.
The commands used to run applications can be found on the QBW wiki page, here is the link

as for the facebook app, I've just set it to launch to the Touch.facebook.com URL, I found the command by looking at the ovi-store.desktop file

Here's my work in progress. only got the one screen for the moment. Also got wifi switcher, flashlight, GSM-2G-3G switcher, battery percentage; all in the drop down menu.
