hi..i have updated to Pr 1.1 and i have used the following configurations to connect to my university's wlan network but i still get the same message over and over again, which is "Something's wrong with the network connection" while my laptop and everybody else can connect to the wlan network perfectly..

Typed in the wlan's name for the connection and network name(SSID)
Use automatically: yes/no (no difference)
Network mode: Infrastructure
Security method: WPA EAP
WPA EAP type: PEAP
Select certificate: None
EAP method: EAP MSCHAPv2
Username: <username>
Password: <password>

Advanced Settings:
Proxy configuration: No proxy
Auto-retrieve IP address: on
Auto-retrieve DNS address: on
Manuall username: on/off (no difference)
Username: same as the username above
Require client authentication: off
WPA2 only mode: on/off (no difference)

I am having the same issue with photos taken on my N9, transferred to my PC and then attempting edit with Windows Live Photo Gallery ... did you ever get this issue resolved?

Can we "disable" automatic software update check by setting the gconf value to a very high number like we can on the N900? Or is there another way to do it?

I'd like to change a folder icon (folder containing my 'bookmarks') to the "icon-l-browser.png". It would resemble Operas speed dial a bit.. been trying but haven't had any luck yet.

There is a "folder2.directory" file in
which contains a line
But changing it doesn't seem to affect anything. Am I even close, and is there some way to do this? :confused: Appreciate your help.

Really would like a user agent changer app for the default browser instead of the current troublesome method of editing the grob file every time after a reboot.

I think I found a stable set of settings for adding Google CalDAV accounts, that's a slight variation of previous how-to's and forum discussions...

I'm looking for a way to disable the "Low space available" (rough translation) notification. It pops up several times a day despite more than 4-5 GB remaining on a 64 GB N9, I guess it is especially because I use Call Recorder, which adds several bytes of files each day... Smaller partitions (Apps for example) have free space remaining too.

The icon is generated programmatically and cannot be changed on a per folder basis. Modification of all folder icons requires a modification of a home screen theme file.

90% of the posts in here over the last few mths are usrs asking for help with something.
It was spelled out very clearly several times that it's for sharing new things you've found.
For the few that have done that, thank-you, I will add them to the Google doc.
I can also make you editors if you want, just send a request from the doc.

/opt/FDBTheme/fdb-original

tried this cmd in script:
ln -s /opt/FDBTheme/fdb-original/ /usr/share/themes/fdb-original/

hi guys, is there any file that dictates which screen out of the three is shown upon boot, or when you unlock the phone, etc

i would love the events/notification page to be the one it defaults too, as opposed to the app page, thanks :)

hi kroll, thanks for the reply, swipemanager doesnt do this unfortunately, i have that app, thats for determining what screen shows when swiping away apps etc, it doesnt set the screen on boot. :)

Hi guys...anyone having issues buying apps from Ovi? No matter what I do, it wonlt let me pay with my credit cards...

Have you tried cleaning your browser history? (settings - programs - internet - delete private data) If the store is hanging forever to confirm payment, this once worked for me...if I remember right

Thanks no, it doesn't hang, it just says I cannot pay with that option of credit card..for some reason its forcing phone bill, but Im on Straight Talk, and I need to pay with Credit Card instead
