I am the one who posted in Spanish before. I apologize if it is against the rules, I didn’t know that. I just wanna help Argen because my main language is Spanish and I know how frustrating is to not understand something that it is suppose to help you to solve any kind of problem, but I’ll stop doing so.

To be clear, my post wasn't intended as an attack, it was just a curiosity/observation...

It's not against any rules per-say, I was just curious why it almost always seems to be Spanish speakers that do it.

Maybe they resort to their native tongue so readily because their grasp of English isn't as good as other netizens whose 1st language isn't Spanish/English?
Perhaps it's something to do with % of the populace that has access to a tertiary education*, not in Spain itself, but perhaps other Spanish-speaking countries?

Anyway I digress too much, ideally English would be used most of the time for several reasons that've been covered here many times before.
But if someone is a poor reader of English, then it's understandable if someone communicates with them in their native tongue in order to help.


*or maybe learning English is a much lower priority in their secondary/tertiary system?

hello again

maybe i will repeat some questions, but i have no find a question in the jungle of all these answers....:o

a have also a problem by registration of whatsapp. i have installed the latest version 0.9.22, and ihave recived the code by using the following link : https://coderus.openrepos.net/whitesoft/whatsapp_sms
so i got a 6 digit code, bud when i type the code by whatsapp, always the message arrive "failed: server said old version" i type the code like this xxx-xxx and like this xxxxxx and the first 3 digits or the las 3 digits, everytime the same message....:mad::mad:

what should i do ?:confused::confused:

I tried to install may times but no use same error.. can you help me !!

Summary for all the people using Whatsup and having the "failed: server said old server" problem:
1) Download and open wart 1.6.8.0
2) Insert phone nr and wait for code via SMS
3) Insert SMS code and wait for final code
4) Open terminal and type
nano /home/user/.config/cepiperez/whatsup.conf
5) move down by using "ctrl-V,ctrl-Y,ctrl-P,ctrl-N.
and type in the open space:
username=XXX (your international phone number WITHOUT the + sign)
password="XXX" (the password generated with wart)
6) Ctrl-O to save, Ctrl-X to quit nano
That should do the trick...

what do you mean by -"move down by using "ctrl-V,ctrl-Y,ctrl-P,ctrl-N."- when i write -"nano /home/user/.config/cepiperez/whatsup.conf"- it tells me -"nano: not found"-

what I did was to work whatsup.conf edit file on PC, replacing username and password and connected state.:D:D:cool:

Probably you need to download nano firstly on your phone, try to 'allow developer mode'...

Hi i did device reset on my phone and reinstalled wazaap 0.9.22. After installing it. i used wart to get the sms code and the password.
the whatsup.conf file and the cepiperez folder did not exist so i created those and filled in the username and password section. now when i launch wazzap i am still stuck at the registration screen. is there a way to bypass that or am i missing a step ? any help would be greatly appreciated.

whatsup.conf for whatsup application of course, not wazapp.

sorry for bothering guys but I followed tge entire WART process and edited the username and the password of the whatsup.conf file. But I still couldn't connect and log in. I don't know where I am making the mistake. Is it possible to make a video of this process?

Or atleat can wazzap be fixed as whatsup can use wazzap's database.

Please note that every wish for application's developments that you are asking is not simple to apply. (Sorry for my bad english)

Whatsapp (Official App) is developed by a team of developers with the means and resources necessary to carry out the development of applications. AND are paid for it !!!!!

Whatsup/Wazapp/Mitakuuluu2/ are developed by a few passionate developer or ONE who take their time and patient to produce an equivalent soft has a great team. And are not paid for it but work hard on IT.

Whatsup / Wazapp / No longer maintained and Coderus working alone on Mitakuuluu2 for sailfish which is pretty difficult thing !!!!!.

If there are dev. motivated and interested, it can still be used sources Wazapp or portMitakuuluu2 on Nokia N9. Also make a clien from scratch!

I give help. I am young develloper (Still learning :D).
So when your asking somthing, be patient. ^_^

I seem to remain stuck on 'registering' it will just jump back to 'error' and wants me to put the code in manually, again...

So i tried editing the whatsup.conf file (which btw didn't work with the 'nano' command, but fine i got there). I entered username/password etc. So it actually launched the aplication now, i can change settings etc. BUT it still says connection 'error'.

I have no clue how to fix it... any idea's? Thanks!
