My friend just sold his Streak again and came back to the N900.
He said it's just too big and he likes the hardware keyboard and Maemo more then the Dell and Android.

My wife finally got one. It is really nice but the on-screen keyboard is awful, I have to test some other solutions like Swipe.

The configuration of the Wifi is quite painful compared to Maemo, and I have to manually change between static and dynamic IP.

There are thousands of useless applications that threaten your privacy. Most of the rest doesn't work without Internet connection, but still there are some nice and useful applications (most of them with open source alternatives in Maemo Extras).

The transitions and general feeling of the UI is awesome. Phone capabilities are beyond N900's, and the magnet is incredible useful for geolocation and augmented reality applications.

What makes the Nokia n900 anything more than just an Arm powered Linux device?

@Average Joe: do you have any cell data network access via T-Mobile (2.5g, 3.5g, etc...?) on the Streak, or are you just using wifi?

I must say, the coming Stage UI on the streak does look nice, but I'm starting to like the whole windows phone alot too. may pick one up on the 8th.

Yes. My streak is unlocked and works perfectly with ATT/Tmobile 2.5g (edge only). Wifi works flawlessly as well.

Froyo and Dell Stage are here already
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=802405
I installed it last night and so far it is exemplary. No doubt there are bugs to squash and improvements to come so it is a work in progress.

It looks very fine with this theme

DJ Steve has some overclocking 1.26Ghz goodies in the pipeline too. The man is on fire with his Streak development.
