It did work, just not my order lol as you can see above, phoned Nokia and they have said it's not in the system yet.

Grr. I've had my preorder since October 19th, but due to the credit card debacle I've apparently lost my place in the queue and am back to waiting. That on top of having my price raised.

Do you people not have jobs?

I just got to my desk from a rather trying home visit to find that n900 is waiting for me safe at the wool shop. As expected, he was road transported straight from East Mids to Bodmin, and sent straight out from there. Mind, I don't trust their timings: they reckon they turned him around in the Bodmin depot in about 5 minutes, and then took an hour and a quarter to bring him to home. That jourrney is seldom more than three quarters of an hour.

So all I need now is to flexi-time off work early and pick it up!

I still don't have a shipping email... Sob sob...

I had to re order from nokia on 23/11/09 - I so badly hope they email me today, but would that mean I get it tomorrow or will I have to wait an extra day to get my tracking number and then get it fri?

can anyone tell me what the earpiece speaker(the one used when making a call) is like he one on my n96 is painfully quiet even turned all the way up i have just placed my order for n900 with regent street store should get it this week :D

Yesterday it was "nothing confirmed but hopefully towards the end of the week"...

been speaking to jon there he is the one sorting my order he said they should get them tmorrow or friday and will dispatch same day to those who are getting them delivered

yeah jon mears is the bloke i been dealing with he is VERY helpfull

Yeah he was excellent with me too. In fact my pre order was quick and sorted out in about five minutes. He was very informative and helped me a lot when decinding which contract I wanted. Think I'll join you in sending a feedback email

I was just having look at shop.nokia and can say they just hang 15% xmass discount and free delivery on pretty much all items!!! Now im just lucky that i didnt order extrabattery and btooth headset and memory card together with phone.....

At the end good news, now just wait that one night to get my n900!!!!

Damnit.. I ordered standard, assuming it was royal mail because if i'm out,the depot is round the corner.. mine's just shipped so if its taking two days I know for a fact I wont be home friday so it will be next week i'll be able to pick it up..

edit* jus checked 'locations' on UPS website.. I'm assuming that's the depot.. 1 minute from where my girlfriend goes uni so will get her to pick it up, fun times

edit * 2.. Can i jus get them to deliver it to my work?

So at 9.00am UPS tracking says 'out for delivery' :):):)

I'm self employed, so swapped my day around to stay home today and visit clients tomorrow.

Just checked UPS again, and it says "11.58 THE PACKAGE WAS MISSED AT THE UPS FACILITY, UPS WILL DELIVER ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY " and the 'Out for Delivery message has been removed. :mad:

So (as I suggested yesterday) the UPS tracking system just tells lies according to want they want you to think at the time.

i have sent a email to flgship store praising Jon for his work hope he gets a pat on the back or something for his hard work i can imagine he has had a lot of people to deal with
