@Coderus I'm insufficiently versed in Sailfish/Linux to properly create bug reports so I have to raise issues here. My new installation of Mitakuuluu didn't automatically import anything that I can see from v 0.2-10 so I renamed the whatsapp.db to database.db and copied it into the Mitakuuluu2 folder. The result is that I can see my chat history complete with times and dates but no messages. Any polite suggestions?

@Dam since it very complex and not native to sailfish solution i cant make it better. you can swipe by pressing text field with single move.
@DavidJ it's not compatible with new version. You need to full quit, remove database.db and rename back whatsapp.db and start application again. Window wont be showed until database not imported and possible "not responding" window will be showed, you need to just wait for operation complete.

Installed latest version, seems it did not import my old conversations. But I can live with that.
After install, is it safe to uninstall old Mitakuuluu version?

i put the /home/nemo/.whatsapp/whatsapp.db
into
/usr/share/harbour-mitakuuluu2/

and start the app. put nothin happend, is there a another mitakuuluu2 folder what i cant see?

No you don't have to move anything!

For me It didn't work on first try then I did:
Quit app, remove the new database.db file if it exists, start the app again, then it worked.

I wasn't sure, how the update process is done best, but what i did worked very well, so i'll just write it down here :)
  1. quit mitäkuuluu1
  2. install mitäkuuluu2
  3. register
  4. quit mitäkuuluu2
  5. remove /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-mitakuuluu2/harbour-mitakuuluu2/database.db
  6. start mitäkuuluu2 (will take some time for import, just wait)
  7. deinstall mitäkuuluu1
  8. reboot

btw: could someone please correct the spelling of "Gallerie" in the German translation, this looks horrible ;)

Why am I not seeing the contact pics for the contacts which do not have a Whatsapp picture set but do have a picture in my contacts?

This used to work in the previous version.

I'm getting an error with registration. The error message says "no cell routes for sending sms" and advices to try in one hour. Any help would be appreciateed.

-edit- This is with Mitakuuluu 0.6.2.

I'm on Elisa in Finland and registrations worked previously. WhatsApp can make a voice registration call but Mitakuuluu cannot.

Hi!
There seems to be a problem with new mitakuuluu. I can see that I recieve a new message but when I try to open a conversation, I cannot see any messages, only timestamp and it isn't from the latest message. Group chats work fine.

Edit. I think I got it working by uninstalling mitakuuluu and deleting all files from /.local/share/mitakuuluu2

Refresh updating photo from whatsapp server, not your phonebook. For setting phonebook photo to contact you should resync this contact. Add contact - select contact - proceed.

if you set contact photo after first syncing you should resync it again. it will never automatically fetch your phonebook contacts data for updates.

This contact has always had a photo in my phonebook.
It should've worked from the start.

Thanks Coderus Exellent work with this app!!

Has anybody noticed with this latest version (0.6-3) that the location sending does no work anymore? Or is it just me and my Jolla....?

There is no issue with sending media, but nokia here server doesnt respond sometimes.

hi all.....i don't know why, but after 2.0.6.3 installation,there is no way for make mitakkuluu work on my device....it say autentication on chek.....if i try to istall old version, all works again after registration.....who know why???

hahahaha sorry for my bad english!!!!
anyway.....about 2 days ago a try to install newest version of mitakuuluu.....and all works fine, but, after few hours it stop to work....so i decideded tu unistall it and reinstall old version and it worked......now, i have delete my account from old version, istall newest version and i have register my acoount again.....after that it say autentications....nothing all!!!

after istallation of newest version, all start to work again

I suspect this is jollas broblem but anyway.
In times mitäkuuluu v0.2 my phone sometimes (ones per mont or so) go "freak". When you were opening some app, it loads cover but right after then it closed and I needed to boot phone. Then after boot, installed app icon was messed and mitäkuuluu was lost its settings.
Couple days ago I formatted jolla and install 0.5 mitäkuuluu. Today I open clock app and suddenly screen go black and green notification led flashes fast 5-10 times and screen comes back. Then mitäkuuluu ask for registeration. I bootted phone, app icons were own place like should but needed to register mitäkuuluu and settings were resetted, conversation was still there saved.

Any clue whats happening?
