Thanks, EmmaGx!

@tone ... I'm having pressure issues as well ... I just can't press my screen that hard without it ghosting ... just means changing the pressure graphs so that it's further to the left (I think! not entirely sure, but seems to work for me!)
I do know now that pressure may vary some degree from device to device. I hope that everybody could "calibrate" pressures for their
own taste.. and I am bit sad about that.. those settings are not universal. Of course we all do have different style to draw and use
pressure also..

Ok.. I hope that everybody can enjoy drawing and painting with
their mobile digital sketching and painting device.. just I do.

Thanks!

@tone ... it took a bit of jigging, but I think I've got my pressure settings right now ... the shape of the curve should be pretty universal, it's just so sensitive, and there's such a small range where it works well, so it needs a little jigging per person ... I should probably post a screencap of mine tomorrow to see if that can help anyone else with problems! ... nice pic ... but then all your drawings are fabulous ... you'll have to show us some of your non-digi-stuff someday!

@outdoors ... yup, don't think the save as jpeg thing causes any changes to the actual.ora you work on ... I'll definitely check properly before doing it with something important though!

This is what my wife drew when I handed her my N900 with MyPaint and Tone's brushes:

I think it should also be mentioned that the pressure settings and the brush settings are related quite symbiotically where one will impact the other depending on the settings. So it's quite hard to provide a perfect solution for both without making them both universal. This is why I prefer to use Tone's settings with his brushes even though we use completely different screen protectors. The brushes just work better with his settings.

I recommend getting a quality screen protector over a generic one. I live in NZ and I had to get mine imported from Germany, pay twice as much for shipping as I did for the screen protector, but the end result is worth it. I don't even remember I have a screen protector and I can be a lot more carefree with the amount of pressure I apply to the screen. If you're serious about MyPaint, a good screen protector is practically a requirement.
